Once I find someone who will be willing to export a couple interesting shapes I made in blender, I will be happy to give!
ANYONE!!! PLEEEEEAAAAASSSEE!
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
I've been working on a flaming goal. Might be fun to add.
@PG, Try this. It's a linked chart. The exporters you need are on it.
The tough part is installing them.
Torque Game Engine DTS Exporter Matrix
Personally I'd love to have that goal. The expansion pack does not include client side skins. :(
I could just hear the yelps as people realize they just overwrote something they really liked.
Ouch!
Hey KBC, what program did you use to make that scrum?
@ KBC- eeeuuuuowuuuu... ::drools:: wha?
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
@ KBC
You need to share or I am going to call your mommy on you :P
Well, if you want me to take a peek send me the stuff and I'll take a look at it.
Expansion Pack Version 3 is now available.
Racer, I'm not keeping them separate and don't want to keep seperate downloads. If you don't want to re-download the pack, just wait it out in game. Sry.
Nap trying to d-d ,but it gives me error page :( 8o

Monica, When I do an update I always use the terrainsin Reagent X'x Mod_Pack.So just make sure they are in Reagents Modpack. They will automatically be added when I do another update.
Thanks for sharing!
Yae, that's correct. I was frustrated not knowing what a certain texture looked like when I was in TGE. So I decided to make a pdf of the skies and textures to reference while painting the terrain. This is still the Xpack 2 PDF, I never got around to making one with the V3 additons.
Ummm if I never want to mod as long as I live, would I need to download the mod pack?
Refresh my memory

Well B, You apparently have a unique issue where you say even if you preload, you still have to wait for things to download. If that is truely the case, you need not, your waiting anyway.
We never did look into this. If you like we can watch the term window to see what's being asked for, and compare it to what's on your machine.
Just one thing. Fatchick was having the same issues a while back. Apparently when he would copy the items to his machine at the folder level, it would act like it's copying, then it would finish too quickly. For whatever reason it's wasn't copying everything but displayed no errors and looked like it worked.
We ended up copying all the files at the file level (not folders) which was a few more steps, but it worked after that. You may be having a similar experience.
Ring me up if you want to check into this.

I think what happens to alot of people is when they extract files in to the missions folder, it goes in there but goes in as another folder. Any folder inside of missions folder can stay there but any contents of sub folders within the mission folder should be copied and pasted inside of missions folder. You should let it replace any file it wants but I know for a fact when I extract someones zip into the missions folder, it does create a folder within my missions folder and if I do not take the files from that folder and place the directly into missions folder I will end up downloading the.ter file again.
Again, if someone wants to figure out what's happening, all they need to do is ask.
Or, we can just complain about doing it wrong until our anus explodes.
I have a question about after you download it (on PC). If it says the "copy contents to data folder" can I just put all those in the data folder? Or do I have to make an individual folder for rocks, trees, skies etc. Cause I did that last time and it took a hella long time 8(
If it says copy contents to data folder.
Open the folder, copy all of the contents and paste all of them in the data folder in the game.
Ok got this also , thanks. :)

Click the image below to download just the new stuff since Xpack v3!
This expansion pack will not be updated regularly. For newly added terrains continue to download the TT_Mod_Pack on Reagent X's website. Reagent X's website
Installing the Expansion Pack on your machine will greatly reduce the wait-time to join modded servers.
In the near future many mods will utilize these new elements and you won't have to wait for anything to download (providing you pre-installed the terrain) because you have already installed this Expansion Pack. The expansion Pack is called Napalm's Expansion Pack 3.0. If you have questions you can email me at napalm_tt@yahoo.com
Antything else is an older version, do not use it.
When Macintosh creates an archive of a folder (zip file) it adds additional information for resource forks and such. Windows see this but does not need it. You can ignore any folders starting with _ (underscore.) Just use the items in "Napalm's Expansion_Pack 1.1"
There are two ways this is to be installed:
1. As a normal client accessing servers. (regular player application) unless you're making terrains, THIS MEANS YOU!
2. In conjunction with TGE for modders. I consider modder developers and should have ample knowlege of installing files and modifying directories.
Here are the instructions which are also found in the Expansion Pack!
[I]Expansion Pack information
Expansion Pack consists of:
Additional texture, objects, and skies.
Textures PDF is included for reference so modder have a visual while going through the textures.
Expansion Pack includes entire Mod_Pack as of 12/01/05

************MAKE A DUPLICATE OF YOUR THINK TANKS DIRECTORY BEFORE YOU CHANGE ANYTHING**********
•••••••••••••••••If you fail to duplicate your folders before you make changes it's your fault for not having a back up!!!*******************
I do not know if this applies to Shockwave versions as I have no access to a copy.
Be aware that directory paths and folder names may have been changed. The core objective of this is to locate the data folder inside the TT application directory.
Normal player install: TGE install see below
1. Locate your ThinkTanks directory.
Windows:
Should be located C:Program FilesBraveTree
Unless you changed the install path from the default.
Macintosh:
Macintosh/Applications/
(For example I have a games directory in which all of my games reside)
Mine is: Macintosh HD/Applications/Games/ThinkTanks/
2. Duplicate your ThinkTanks folder.
Windows: (Control Drag) or Macintosh: (Option Drag) the TT folder. This will duplicate the folder. Rename it whatever you want.
OR
Mac and Win: You may also want to right click and choose copy, then right click and choose paste. This will also make a copy of the folder.
Locate the data folder.
Windows: C:Program filesBraveTreeThnnkTanksgamedata
Mac: In the Thinktanks folder right click on the ThinkTanks application, select "show package contents." Navigate through Contents/Resources/game/data/
3. Copy the data to the corresponding folders as indicated by the folders names.
A. "Copy contents to data folder" Folder contains "environment, missions, terrains, and water folders, and the init.cs file."
B. "Copy contents to shapes folder' Folder contains "Blue, Common, Green, markers, objects, organic, plants, Red, rocks, trees."
C. "Copy contents to skies folder" Folder contains sky related files in it.
D. "Copy contents to sound folder" Folder contains sound related files in it.
That's it. All is gooooood
TGE install
Here is what should be done prior to installing the expansion pack:
First steps (in Italics) are the same as prior to the creation of the tt_expansion_pack
(provided to me by Rooster) directed at Windows operating system
1. Download the torque demo, and install it to
program files/torque demo.
2. Copy the "demo" folder into the torque root
folder. (It should now be named "copy of demo").
3. Rename that new folder "game".
4. In the "demo" folder, create a new batch file.
(You can copy any of the files from Thinktanks'
"dedicated" folder, and paste it)
5. Right click on that batch file, and choose
"edit". Change the text to the following:
cd..
demo -mod game
6. Save and close the batch file.
7. Add TT shapes and terrains to your new "game"
folder.
8. Double click the new batch file (it may take a
while to do anything, just wait) , launch up the
FPS example game, and press F11.
