I have been having screen resolution issues since upgrading to Panther/ 10.3.2.

It seems to be triggered by my changing from full screen to the small screen mode (and back again).

Regardless of my system or TT applic. Resolution settings when I go to small screen and back again I either get:

1) a low resolution graphic image that cuts off the bottom of the screen (cannot see chat or any in game messages on the bottom of the screen. (no child safe filter is not on).

Or

2) a small TT screen framed in black that also cuts off the messages/ chat.

Never had this problem before Panther.

Help???

Thank you,

Baba

Now that you mention it, I did see problem #1 after I upgraded to Panther. However, I was having problems with the cursor freezing for a couple of seconds (makes bad shooting become really bad shooting) and focused on the mouse issue (replaced original mouse). I remember I couldn't see the any messages when running with a small screen at high resolution (1024x768). The only way I could see messages while in high res mode was to go full screen. When I changed resolution back to 800x600, everything looked fine so that's the mode I've been playing.

I haven't noticed problem #2 or the problem TankGirl was having with full screen mode (this was a few weeks ago, don't recall details).

I'll play around with the settings some more and see what happens.

Yes BABA, I noticed it too. I never connected it with Panther though. I simply avoid jumping into Window mode now, because I know that going back to full screen will be ugly and cause problems, ie, the chat messages getting cut off. It is rather annoying. FWIW, I noticed if I exit out of a room/server, back to the server list, THEN go back to fullscreen and re-enter a game, it appears fine. It has something to do with the rez switching that occurs when you actually begin a game (whether offline or online) I don't have any answer for why it occurs. Seems like a job for Joe and the rest at BT.
