I have a personal friend named (TT name) "alcoholiday". He plays TT with a friggin' laptop and he ain't complainin'. My mans gots some skillz too. Hes currently in college so he doesn't get to play much. So next time you see him give my man some props.

I've been playing on my laptop Mac Tibook since I bought the game in Aug 2003. Much easier with my trackball plugged in though.

I've been using a laptop (only comp I have) to play tt. It's diffucult, like I tried it on a regular comp. And I sucked. So when I get a regular computer(Soon) I'll have to learn to adjust cause right now I use my left hand to steer(arrow keys) and my right pointer finger to aim and my middle finger to fire. Give that a try and tell me what ya think!(Using the controls like I do, that is!)

When I try to play on my laptop, I have a tough time with the trackpad. I usually use an eMac, but when on the road, I have an iBook. I keep touching the trackpad with my left thumb while steering (WSAD) and lose my aim constantly,

I should get a mouse for the laptop...

It really sucks doesn't it! I only have the touchpad thats it no external mouse or anything!!! But I manage to be pretty good

I'm actually better with the touchpad my aim is much more accurate.

I'd like to know how you keep from accidentally tapping it while your driving. Do you use arrow keys or WSAD?

LGM - do you have an abnormally large thumb? Mine doesn't even reach anywhere near the trackpad on my iBook.

If you have a new model TiBook, you can turn on a feature in the keyboard preferences that says something around the lines of 'Ignore confusing keypad commands,' so when you accidently tap the touchpad quickly, it would ignore it. :)

I got a crap video card in my IBM lappy (486 woot lol), S3 makes the worst video cards lol.

Not a big thumb, but maybe uncoordinated... I already had the ignore accidental input turned on. Thanks, though.

Hats off to all u laptop users out there! Hey you guys who arent used to using a track pad, you can purchase a mouse thats compatible with your laptop. It makes the game a lot easier to play. Laptop users rock for they perserviere through the toughest scrum and battlemode matches without complaining about their lousy track pad. Hats off suckers! B)
