Hello, everyone. I've never played on online game until recently—and finally—with ThinkTanks! I'm having a "blast" (yuck yuck yuck).

I have a few technical issues that I can't seem to find a general answer for, so maybe some of the more experienced gamers can help me.

When I download scripts, such as the Observer (the overhead, zoomable camera) or Antidiver (the one that forces the scrum to fall between players), I can't seem to use them without logging into an online server. Why is this? Sometimes I want to play against just the bots and can't get online for one reason or another and want to test out the scripts. Do I need to put them in other places or manipulate the code in some way? Assume I've installed these correctly.

Same with the small UFO, which after a l-o-o-o-n-g time finally beat the 500K level! Why must I be forced to use this online, and only in those servers with the ability to use that UFO installed?

One last question-- I also want to play some of the cool terrains folks have developed, but when I download them I either can't play them without logging into a server or I get the "latest Torque Engine not installed" message. When you fellow TTers post mods, why don't you guys include all of the images, etc., so that we can play these locally?

I appreciate all of your help in advance.

The scripts you mentioned are server side, not client.
Get Art Crazy's Admin Script to change tanks and switch missions locally.

Monica is right on
The scripts run server side only
All the scripts and tweaks do work in the create game section
(after you iinstall them)
Admin codes - weapons - etc
SO if you wanna play offline then use create
But lock the server
