I followed the instructions to download the TT ModPack. I downloaded the "Zip" to my desktop, then moved the TT ModPack Folder to my Missions Folder. Was that right? I still have a few minutes wait to enter a selected "Mod Server". :o

Uhm... You mean that...

First you downloaded ModPack, zipped it and got folder called "TT ModPack", then you moved the "TT ModPack" folder to game/data/missions/? You don't need to move any extra folders to missions folder. You only need to move the files inside the "TT ModPack" to your missions folder.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

@ Triv, Yes, I did, but are you saying that I only have to move "some" content of the "TT ModPack Folder"? When I open the TT ModPack Folder on my desktop, I see two folders. 1. MACOSX 2. TT ModPack. Which one should I send to my Missions Folder? I noticed that if I open the first, then I get "TT Mod Pack". If I open that, then I see.Ter Files. I believe that's what I'm supposed to move to my Missions Folder according to Regent's Install Instructions. Is that it?

None of them. You only need the.ter files(and.mis files if you want to take them). I have always deleted the MACOSX folder as the files which I need have always been in the TT ModPack folder(btw im not mac user). You can put the "dtt" folder also into missions folder. Some of dash's old maps might need it, that's not really necessary. I delete always files called ".DS_Store" not sure what they are, but not needed. Anything else? :P

Yes. From the desktop TT Mod Pack Folder that I extracted from the Mod Pack Zip, where do I go please. I know the.ter and.mis files are in there, but without actually moving the entire TT Mod Pack Folder, I don't know how to move only the.ter files mentioned. Please help. Thanks,

PS. 1. Download the above.zip file to your desktop and unzip. You will have a folder of terrain files (that end in.ter). This is the part that gives me trouble. I "can" find the.ter files, but not w/out opening the MACOSX Folder first. I'm assuming that is for Mac users, as is Regent's instructions in general. I'm not a Mac user either. Should I just do that, but do a large "copy and paste" job??

If you are in Windows do like this. Highligh all the files which you need(keeping Ctrl button down helps highlighting the files which you need and just click one by one all the files which you want). After all the files are highlighted as blue press Ctrl + c key same time. This will copy all the highlighted files. Then go to missions folder and press Ctrl + v same time. This will paste all the files to the folder. But if you're in some other OS this might not work...

Yes, copy and paste.

Yes I'm in Windows, and that's what I thought I might have to do. Thanks so much for your help! I hope in the future, Regent and others will give "Mult-OS-User" applications. B)

Ok one more thing. What's the difference between the.ter files found in the MACOSX folder and the content found in the TT Mod Pack folder? Are those the.mis files? If so, do I need them? Thanks,

KC

I believe you can find all the files from the TT ModPack folder. Everything in the MACOSX is unnecessary... Atleast for Win users...

Ok then, could I just "move" the TT MP folder, or do I have to open the folder and copy and paste all of the individual files and then move them to my Missions folder?

Whatever way suits you best. All you need is to get the ter files inside your missions folder, but they can't be in any extra folder(s). You could copy & paste, or move the "TT ModPack" to missions folder and then drag the ter files out from it to the missions folder, or you can open up two windows other is missions folder and other is TT ModPack and drag the ter files to the missions folder. Doesn't matter what way you get them to there.

Triv,

Now I get it. Thanks alot again! I was feeling I could just move the whole folder to my Missions folder and it would work, because that's how it worked for the Dash Codes install I did. I guess it's different for.ter files eh? Makes sense though.
You were very helpful and I really appreciate your patience as well. :)
