What is the TT skinning world coming too! To be honest these are the one of worst skins I've ever seen! All you did was go to google and image searched, then you named them. I think that I might leave the PTT skinning because of skins like this.
Slip's tank is another example of how bed the skinning world is coming too.

Please delete any threads like this that contain skins that are horrible (ex. This and slip's), they show no skill and take about 2 min to make. This is horrible!

KT, those arent skins...they're simply pictures.

Panzer - ever think of telling him WHY they won't work rather than just attacking him over them? It's rather obvious he's new to it, but he's trying .

KT - it's a nice try, but there's a few things you need to be aware of first...

Terrain isn't too hard to do - you should find 4 different images that can blend together well. Use the standard images and -z-'s terrains as good examples of these. My Beelze |Bot| terrain is simplistic and not very creative, but functional.

Sky is MUCH harder to do. You need 5 images that fit seamlessly together. Look at z's Spooky Nebula sky to see what I mean. The images shown cross the borders between the files smoothly.

So just giving us a nifty sky image like the one above is not enough (unfortunately. I wish it was that easy). You have to convert that image to the proper format of 5 tiles. One thing I discovered when working on the Beelze skin was that the resolution for Sky images is not that good. Individual pixels can be pretty easily seen if the image is too complicated.

Take a look at what is already loaded in the Skin Library - feel free to ask me or any of the other skinners for advice. I'm not one of the great skinners, but I've messed around a bit with all of the files, and I've got some graphics knowledge. Perhaps someday I'll build another complete skin set that's a bit more creative than what I've done so far...
