^ Ugh, rap shouldn't even be considered a music, there's no flow to it. (I know that's not the technical terminology, but I always disliked music class.)

Me, I like classic rock. Not much of this new rock suits me. I prefer the older bands, such as Led Zeppelin, DMB, etc. As for 5 favorite songs, I can't list em, but Fuji has the right idea. ;)

Actuallly Jed, Rap is a true-flowing, simplified form of music. Not my taste in music but, you really can't say there's "no flow" to it. Some rappers have no clue about harmony and composition, but others do, and do a pretty good job of it. Remember, if it got too far off, it would fall out of the realm of rap music.

Zeppelin Kashmir
Any Deamtheater
Raddika, I Walk Alone
Ted Nugent, Stranglehold
Ronnie james Dio, Man on the Silver Mountain

Here's today's answer. Probably changes daily... And in no particular order

Baker Street (Gerry Rafferty)

In the Mood (Benny Goodman or Glenn Miller Band)

The Chain (Fleetwood Mac)

Classical Gas (Mason Williams)

Twenty-three (Mike Theriault)

And pretty much anything Chicago did before 1985... (hooray for listing Take 5, fuji)

Nightwish is good. You can listen some samples http://www.nightwish.com/en/files/audio . Dunno if you already familiar with the other stuff? Nightwish - Over The Hills And Far Away is definately recommented by me truly.

My top 5 song changes weekly - daily. Not considering in starting to think any names as they're probably unknown to you. The songs are eurodance and if not. They're often something "closely similar" to that... Or maybe not. Couple goodies...
Los Angeles - Estoy Enamorado
La Fiesta - El Velero
Gloria - Dame Suavecito
Sandra - Ven Conmigo A La Fiesta
Dinda - Crying
Cool James & Black Teacher - Blue Moon
Impuls - Ona Byla Inna

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Blue Scholars - No Rest for the Weary

@Soap: I can't possibly see who's flaming. Face facts, most of rap is cr*p. Some is actual music, but a lot is just people trying to act cool. Same with any kind of music, it's just that rap tends to show more of it.

How long should they let you listen them? %)

Btw, it was one minute and you can download them to your computer.
I have myself few such ones from other artists. :) Until I get the full one...

Well, I can't stand country, most rap, and a lot of pop. Some modern rock is just copies of others and kinda too high pitched, but in general it is ok. There are only a few bands I dislike in the classic rock genre. Styx. No, just no. David lee roth can get a little annoying too. Other than that, my favorite alway change, but there is a sort of "always" list that I always turn the radio for.

"Always" (no order)
Back in black- ACDC
Free Fallin- Tom petty
Vertigo- U2
Chine Grove- Dooby Brothers

"Current"
Champaign Supernova- Oasis
I want you to want me- Cheap trick
Fortunate Son- CCR
White room- Cream
Rock in the USA- John Cougar Mellancamp

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 6:23:33 PM

Mine are:
ACDC's Shook me all night long
Rolling Stones paint it black
Black Sabbath's Paranoid
Goo goo dolls's Iris
Jerry C's Cannon rock version..its not a song though, but its really cool
