Add something like this to the bottom of your.mis file. (TT1_4.mis for example.)
LightTank.maxspeed= 30;
LightTank.accelrate= 25;
LightTank.antisliderate= 20;
LightTank.turnrate= 90;
LightTank.deccelRate= 200;
You can play with the numbers until your happy. If you want the other tanks to go faster, just switch LightTank to MediumTank or HeavyTank.
