Hey y'all

After seeing suriname's post on using the med in battlemode it got me to thinking. After being one of these notorious campers... Albeit not a very good one I got sick of the tanks light armour (heard it before?)... Well I decided to start using the medium.

The medium is an excellent camping machine. It slides more than a light so if you catch someones bumper their more likely to push you back into goal and score and its not as cripplingly slow as a heavy.

Just hoping to encourage more medium supporters

As an avid Medium tank (armour) user, I HIGHLY suggest that you sharpen you're skills in BM before you try to tackle scrum. From my experiences, the medium is too slow for distance-running for the scrum... You have the right idea for using the med in scrum (by camping), as the med is a bumping machine. It's best to use it as a defender for the goal, at least for TS. Like ROGUE said in my topic on the med in BM, avoid boost pads and hilly terrain, as the med tank bounces A BUNCH when its going full speed on a hilly hill :p.

F.Y.I I wish there was a way to encourage more people to use the Medium Tank.... From what I've seen, people who buy the game for the first time go straight for the Light Tank. After which, they usually go to a Heavy....

Anyway, hope this helps.

There are many reasons for using the med, you arse! For starters, the medium tank has powerful turret shots, and has an better overall defense than the light tank.

Tell you what.... Why don't you set up a server, and we'll see why those few good players use the med. Tank!! XO

Oooh, just today I discovered how maneuoverable the med is compared to the light. Can outmaneuovre lots of lights for distance running. Only let down is that you get shot to pieces using this tactic.

Yeah, that's true. Maybe that's why I've never seen a FAT horse win the "Kentucky Derby" yet. They sure can't win the race my just "sitting" at the other end "waiting" for the trophy to come to them now can they? :P

My fovourite advontage of the med is that its gun is more powerful than the light's but it doesnt have such a loooooooong reload time. Ive only ever used it in scrum when I was a demo (and I failed miserably) but I use it sometimes in BM.

Note:I suddenly turned an expert with med tank because I just tried it and it realy workd perfectly!

Ok guys I have no idea why u guys think the med tank would be good in scrum. Very strange.......and stupid......the light tank is so much better for stealing and running!! God dammit!! Lol

OMFG ice dawg the med tank goes at a pretty good speed and it also has good armor if you catch the scrum with the light youl be long dead before you even get within a kilometer to the goal!

MED is good in battlemode. It s just to slow for scrum only b*st*rds like campers would use it.

And the scrum theory, no. I'll tell you why, Medium's are slow as hell.

@Da LeGiOnArY - I'll tell you why Veterans use Lights in Scrum.

Theyre fast so get to ball and goal quicker than medium's and heavie's. They are the most agile tank (Dodge bullets alot easier.) and no you will not be dead when using a light in scrum quicker, because they can dodge and can whiz past medium's.

Come try these out in a server if you see me !

I did meet some med named Zi in TScrum @ psl 8 and he was not doing so good. But maybe it's because of his skills and not the tank.I need more info to make a decision, maybe I will try it out for fun. %)

OK you can use the light tank if you want to go after the the scrum ball. You could use the med tank to defend the goal. And I think the light tank is perfict for BM because you could get away quickly if your about to die and get a health, but so is the H tank. :)
