In Iraq, there were 39 combat related killings in January.
In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 killings in January. That is just one city compared to a whole country at war!

When some claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war, state the following:

A. FDR led us to war in WW2

B.Germany never attacked us, Japan did. From 1942-1945 there were 450,000 lives lost. An average of 112,500 per year.

C. Truman finished that war and started a war in Korea. Korea never attacked us.
> From 1950-1953 55,000 lives were lost. That's an average of 18,334 per year.

D. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.
> Vietnam never attacked us.

E. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
> from 1965 to 1975 58,000 lives were lost an average of 5,800 a year.

F. Clinton went to war with Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia attacked us. He was offered Osama Bin Laden's head three times by Sudan and did NOTHING.
Bin Laden has hit us several times since.

G. In the years since the terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al Quaida, put nuclear inspectors in Lybia, North Korea and Iran without firing a shot, captured a terrorist who SLAUGHTERED 300,00 of his own people.

The democrats are crying about how long the war is taking, but it took president Bush less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. That was a 51 day operation.

We've been looking for chemical weapons proof in Iraq in less time than it took for Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the Third Infantry division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took for senator Ted Kennedy to call the police after he sank his Oldsmobile at Chappaquidick.

It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida.

THE BIASED MEDIA HOPES WE ARE TOO LAZY TO REALIZE THESE FACTS!!

But wait theres more....

Senator Metzembaum (speaking to senator John Glenn): " How can you run for Senate if you never held a real job?"

Senator John Glenn (D- Ohio):
" I served 23 yrs in the US marine corps. I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions. My aircraft I was flying in was hit by anti aircraft fire 12 different times. I was in the space program. It wasn't my checkbook, Howard, it was my life on the line. It wasn't a 9-5 job were I took time off to take daily cash reciepts to the bank."

" I ask you to go with me... As I did the other day to a veterans hospital and look those men... With their mangled bodies, in the eye, and tell THEM they didn't hold a real job!

You go with me to the space program at NASA and go, as I have gone, to the widows and orphans of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffey... And look those kids in the eye and tell THEM they didn't hold a real job!

You go with me to Arlington National Cemetary on Memorial Day, where I have more freinds buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch those waving flags.

You stand there, and you look think about this nation, and you tell ME that THOSE people didn't have a job?

"What about you? "

For those who don't remember, during WW2 Howard Metzembaum was an attorney representing the communist party in the USA.

Now he's a Senator!

If you can read this, thank a teacher.

If you can read it in English, thank a veteran!

True dat. I think "they" are ignoring this thread, either that or they have not come up with enough excuses for each of these circumstances.

We've realized that. And I don't like those other presidents either.

Cliton leaves white house

Bush is warned about plans
for attcak in the US.

FBI - closely monitoring
suspect, every close...
(was renting a house to a hijaker)

Bush administration fails to ack
before attacks.

9/11

Dick cheney (former Halliburton ceo)
after 9/11 focus attention on iraq
"wmd"

Bin laden escape attacts on the
taliban

Instead of completing the mission
and focus in on the war on terror
by making a statement either by
killing bin laden or capturing him.

Shock and awe beings in iraq for
reasons still in debate.

After war ended (Halliburton) company
wins contracts in Iraq are expected to
have generated more than $13 billion
in sales by the time they start to expire
in 2006.

Ya, I want my friends and family in on that...

NOT.

And you are welcome KKB

Hmmm. Oh, and what if we didn't look for WMDs? Assume they don't have them. Sounds like a good plan....

Weak Vash, very weak... All this stuff with 9-11 was brewing when Clinton was in office and cut the defense and also cut special intelligence BY 90%!!
Thank Clinton for 9-11 if you want to look at it that way, but I won't.

Occupation. Liberation. Deliberation.

Wow, sounds like we need to lighten this thread up. I wish I could help.

Iraqis blame George Bush for igniting a civil war. Europe blames George Bush for destabilizing the Middle East. Muslims blame George Bush for inflaming radical fundamentalists. Canadians just shake their heads in disbelief. Americans blame George Bush for the deaths of thousands of our young men and women, destroying the military, and increasing spending to levels that are hard for ordinary humans to comprehend.

Okay, someone else give it a shot...

^ That would be incredibly accurate if it were accurate!

And as to Muslims blaming GW or the USA for inflaming muslim radicals....I'm sure they do and that's very convenient, but then you have to also shield your eyes lest they might actually glimpse a sight of the historical facts which say the Muslim Radicals have been at it for decades through republican and democratic presidesnts alike...

Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 11:01:30 PM

Uhh, there weren't daily suicide bombings in Iraq until the U.S. Invaded...

Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 7:47:45 AM

Talibans are not crushed in Afghanistan. Canadian Soldiers are now dieing there to protect this fledgling democracy.

Was that a thank you KKB?

Thank Clinton for 9-11 if you want to look at it that way, but I won't

Actually if you did some research you will find this stuff
started brewing with bush senior...

So we can thank the bush family for 9-11, and I will.

Anybody know a good cartoon tank game I can play? This thread is bumming me out...

Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 2:17:29 PM

See the ultimate John Kerry thread by Captain Med.
Soooo good.

Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 7:46:29 PM

^ Way to change the subject. But I think this thread's run it's course.

I have to add one final thing: John Kerry was an idiot. But infinitely smarter than Bush.
Think about where we'd be if the 2000 elections were fair and Al Gore were president. It couldn't be much worse than this. And I'm pretty sure it would have been a lot better.

Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 7:52:36 PM

Ahh the old stabed in the back reference. So who is playing the part of Hagen, nvm.....

Friday, August 18, 2006 at 8:26:42 AM

I got a better question. What role would do you think KKB would play?

Brunhilde ?

XD

Friday, August 18, 2006 at 9:02:20 AM

I play the role of" Lib-pisser-offer" Doesn't take much. All you got to do is post an open thread that they don't agree with and its that simple; they're po'd.

Flea, was there any mention of evil in this thread? This thread's topic is obviously more factual than opinionated. ;)
You take your lumps well. XD

Well, besides going in chronological order of Dems who started conflicts, FDR did have "Just Cause" for going to war.
