Nice read, but why can't you just post a link instead of a copy and paste?

Here it is! I was wondering when someone was going to post about this. :)

It doesn't really seem like a big deal to me. So they've uncovered a gnostic codex; doesn't seem that great to me. Some people seem to think this will deal a blow to the New Testament, but there have been heretical documents claiming to tell the "real story" from the very beginning. This one doesn't make any more sense than the others. File it away as "huh, that's nice" and move on. :P

Is it just me or is there some conspiracy against Easter this year? First we have Tiktaalik, now this.

Plus it doesnt quite make sense........Why would Jesus encourage Judas to get him crucified when in the garden of Gethsemane Jesus says "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."......

Well, it makes some sense to me if that's how it happened. Jesus came to be a sacrifice and he knew all along that was his ultimate goal.

A (religious) friend of mine finds it humorous that this is a big deal now, 30 years after the gospel was found.
