Man what a great welcome...you guys are cool to the bone as far as im concerned. When I first started playing TT I didnt even know about PTT....so it never interested me to know the other players. But when I heard about PTT and came to read the forums....i realized its like a whole lil community in here. Everybody seems to know everybody else...and all the respect you show each other. Cool indeed. So thank you all for the welcome..and if y'all excuse me now..im gonna go play a few rounds of bm before I get to work. Nothing like TT to get you going in the morning. Before I go though I want to thank deja vu for aaaaaaaall the help he's given me. Man, that right there is one of the nicest humans ive met in a looooooong time. Hehe.

Welcome to Planet ThinkTanks, aka PTT. I say this to all new PTTers, so don't feel offended by it.
Spam is any post we don't need, the same post over and over again, or posting on a "dead" thread- a thread that's not on the top page (this is also called "bumping", and in some cases, it's okay). Spam is evil.
I'm not accusing anyone of spamming, but we don't like it because it makes PTT run slower. The databases get clogged with information, and it takes them longer to process it. Some of it's unavoidable (more members = more posts, even if it's not spam), but we try keeping it to a minimum anyways. We can help by resetting all of our unread posts after each PTT session, and editing our posts if we forgot to mention something.
Under each of your posts, there's a link that says "Edit" to do that job.
Under your tank, there'll be some stars if you post some more later. Don't post just to get them.
People have tried that several times before when the stars were made, and they got silenced for spamming.
Also, there are moderators. Those are the guys with a shield next to their stars. They can lock threads, delete/edit posts, and, if all else fails, silence or ban people. Don't be too scared of them, they're here to help you, and they will NOT
silence you unless it's for a really good reason. Feel free to ask them for advice, they're the most trustworthy people on PTT.

Hey people. Me name is Mike and im a newbie. :o) well actually ive been playing TT for couple of years on and off but this is my first time on PTT..so im a newbie to the forums. You guys know me better as Yuk IBotI and yes I finally got my butt into PTT! Id been trying for a while to sign up but couldnt until now. After about three attempts im finally in. I dont know what I did right this time but im here and I wanted to say hi to everyone. XD I hated coming in here and reading all these interesting topics and not being able to leave a comment. So now that im in im ready to leave my two cents where I can..hahaha. Just so you guys know..im the main user of "Yuk IBotI" but there are two other people in my house that use it occasionally. I tried making them use thier own names..but they seem to like this one (Yuk). About 90% of the time its me though. Anyway..so if you see me out there and say something and I dont respond..its probably not me. Just say Mike and if I answer then you know its me in the tank hahaha. Hmm...so anything else you guys wanna know about me just ask. Aight then people..ill be seeing you guys on the playing fields.
