I like someone named Kiri right now....she's the second person I've ever REALLY likes before.....we were really good friends, and then she sorta distanced for a bit when she found out I liked her....and a bunch of weird stuff happened, and she went out with my friend, and they broke up....etc. Lately she's been going back and forth between staying away from me and flirting a little with me, I really have no clue.....do we ever? Ahh well....I'll see.....

I used to have a monster crush on this freshman named Shantavia Simmons.... The first week that she came to my school, she was all over me. Then, when I realized that she liked me, I started to choke up everytime we talked... She eventually came out of her "shell", and turned into what my cousin calls a 'cum-dranka'.... :( Even though she was influenced and turned out the wrong way, I STILL have a huge crush on her. Wonder why? :o

That really made me wonder why girls do so many things that I can't even begin to fathom.... And why I can never even look at girls anymore! (their just too scary)

Last year, girl named sofie loved me, I really didn't like her at all, so I said I accidently got drunk cause I chugged the wrong glass... Apple juice or beer, hmmm... Antway, she bought it, and now she hates me! YAY! Unfortunately, I still figure skate with her, and it that can get annoying! %)

First, there was a girl named Athena, who was my friend's friend. We went on a few rollercoaster rides at a 6 Flags park and ended up really liking each other a lot. We went out online - we voice and video chatted everyday, until we had to go do something. I was soo madly in love with her, but after a while she started to feel the need to have someone who was near to her who she could be with in real life every day, so she dumped me. We're still friends, and I think she regrets her decision to dump me, but I won't let her come back to me because I know she'll just break my heart again.
Then, in France, there was a girl named Aude. We immediately hit off on each other, and I did my best to "woo" her by being a gentleman, which she really liked. We stared at each other all through dinner, and when we went upstairs to play Uno, we ended up getting in a pillow fight and hugging each other. When we all had to go home (at 1 o'clock AM), she gave me her email without me even asking. I thought that I had her right there, but I was wrong. Now, whenever I send her an email, she sends one back saying "hi it's Aude, love and a big kiss!" So I think she's trying to avoid me now. Beurk.
Now, I have a huge crush on a redhead in my school named Ria, who is shy, polite, and very nice, but for some reason, almost everyone hates her. I'm afraid to ask her out because of what's already happened to me in terms of my love life. I'm afraid of getting my heart broken again.
Maybe someday I'll get up enough courage, but not today.

Lol... It is jinda weird seeing a bunch of geeks talking about girls... Hmmmm, I wonder what they would say if they saw this thread

Kiri's so confusing, because she has sorta left a trail of broken hearts, but I really chatted with her a lot before she knew I liked her, just as friends, and I sorta feel like I know her....I think she gets hurt even more than the guys every time it happens, and she just has trouble trusting us guys.....I'd never date her till I knew for sure that she trusted me....I know she'd dump me just like the others otherwise....

The problem is she's SO SO SO pretty that a lot of guys just like her for looks, and I think that makes it hard for her to really be able to trust a guy....ah well....some day....

Hey fil......ive been ther...in 7th grade.....i found out tat my best guy friend like had liked me since 4th grade......and so I like distanced myself from him...cuz it was kinda uncomfortable and peeps in my class were trying to hook us up....when all tat I wished was tat things could go back to normal.....anyways.....its just gonna be for a while...now my best guy friend has his own girlfriend and we r still close friends....cuz he moved for 8th grade year.......dont worry..shes only doing it cuz she may not know if she has feelings for u or not.....or is still trying to deal with the shock of it..... :)

This is probably the only time I have ever felt sorry for all of you who posted here!!!

When a girl finds out you like them, that instantly changes your relationship with them. You go from "just another guy friend at school" to "the guy at school who likes me".
It is important that you understand this, because you need to be aware that they will tend to act totally differently toward you.
Meaning, the girl does not really know how to behave toward you because she is aware that you like her.

You changed the relationship by "starting to like her".
So you need to talk to her about it, by asking her something like:
"I like you more than just a friend, do you like me more than just a friend?"
If she says:
" I just want to be friends"
Then you say:
"Ok that's cool, I just wanted you to know how I feel"
Then you stay friends. (It takes a man to express your feeling and shows tremendous maturity. She knows this and it will grow in her mind. This can turn the tides in your favor down the line.)
But...
If she says:
" I like you more than a friend too"
Then you should just smile and look deeply into her eyes and pray for a kiss.

Either way, you both now know how each other feels and you can not suffer the pain and agony of beating around the bush or missing your chance.
More easily said then done I know, but you must be brave.

If you suspect a girl is a heart breaker, then it is all a game to them. You can tell by the way they say goodbye to you. If they leave your company too easily then you cannot expect too much depth from the relationship. They forget about you as soon as they turn around. You can play their game if you wish. It's called who can pretend not to care the most. This can either drive a girl to a frenzy or it can drive them away, so be wary. They can be like cats if you ignore them a certain way they will want you to pet them, but if you try to pet them too soon they will bite you
DO NOT PUPPY DOG! Girls do not want to be clung too. Girls do not want to be clung too. Not until they are out of their 20s do most women like a lot of attention. Not an absolute, but definitely something to me careful of. I have lost a few that way.

The gentleman thing is always a good idea.
You should learn about table manners and dining etiquette if you haven't already. (ask any parent or cool teacher)
here are a few:
The gentleman thing is in a cultural limbo right now, most things are still ok but some are not.
Do not insist on paying. Assume that you are paying unless she asks.
Get the car door upon entering but not necessarily upon exiting. If she hesitates getting out then that is a sure sign that she want you to get the car door.
She might want you to pull out her chair but not necessarily push it in. If she does not scoot in right away then you should push her chair in for her.
If she goes to the bathroom or leaves the table for any reason then you should stop eating and get up or at least look like you are getting up. Don't just sit their eating.
Napkin goes on your lap as soon as you sit down.
Eat and drink slowly. Don't order anything that will give you bad breath.
Ask questions about the girls family or interests. If you find yourself taking about yourself it's probably because you just notices the beautiful girl you are talking too looks glassy eyed. Just say "enough about me, what about you". Cliché example but it sounds better then what you were just saying.
You would be amazed by how interesting it is to hear about a girls childhood.

( and the fact that im a gal too so I know what gals like! :P ) I guess thats about it! @ Tornado: k bud calm down first... ;)

1) Tell your EX to stop bugging that gal, if he doesnt, tell him that if he continues to bug her, you will not talk to him again.
2) Explain to that gal that you arent desperate to ask her out, its your EX who is picking on you.
3) Try to be friends with her first, understand what kind of person she is. Do not rush into dating, understand her first, because you can never judge a person by the looks.
4) Ask yourself, do you like her as a friend or a lover. At first, when most people fall in love, they thought they really love that person. But in the end, they finally knew that they only liked them as friends and not lovers.( Thats my experience with a guy B) ) A way to find out is to stay away from her for a few months. The reason is because if you really love a person, no matter how long you are apart, you cant forget him/her. So if you find yourself not thinking about her after being away from her a long time, then maybe you only admire her as a friend. :)

Anyway thats all. If any problem just ask me, I will try my best to help. B)

Same thing goes for you guys like me. Just make sure you look good. OK I used to have a bombastic, ballistic and insane crush on a girl named Stephanie. Pretty smart, but the opposite of a geek. Then the same night I incresed the level of my crush by about 50 MILLION TIMES, I heard she was moving to Atlanta. I was thinking to my self, "@$%^&"! So anyway, I said a friendly goodbye and that was it. Blast it all, I said nothing to her that I liked her. Ok guys this is the first time I have ever had a problem. Here it is:

Well I like this guy who is studying in the boy's school just down the road from my school. He was pretty nice to me. Every time he sees me he would say hi. Once I saw him on the bus and he leaned so close to me when he said hi! I thought he liked me. Until he had a godsister. I was kinda jealous and I kept on asking him about his opinion about his godsis. I think I irritated him lots but he didn show it. Then I asked for his handphone no and strangely he gave it to me without any opposition. However one day, I finally found out that he gave me the wrong no! The no doesnt even exist! To be honest, I was pretty heartbroken and I think he was really angry with me. Anyway I still wanna know why he gave me the wrong no. But he refuses to be online on MSN. I think he probably deleted me from his contact list thats why. Someone help what should I do? :'(

when you expressed affection, he probably withdrew cause either that was a turn-off or he was scared
all of the other things he did like with his MSN and Number... Was to avoid interaction with you
guys often flirt even when they know they will never get into a serious relationship with that person
