Hmmm interesting find chong
Sorry to burst your bubble Chong, but doing such a thing with ThinkTanks and almost every other program out there would be a violation of the EULA, and hence illegal. :'(
Go to the bit where it says downloads u a bit slow ? XD
I didn't think one could decompile an exe... The only decompilers that I've ever seen actually work are java decompilers. However, it really doesn't matter because Chilled Lizard is right - while the ability to decompile code exists, it is illegal and looked down upon by those of us that work in the software industry. I'll second Billy Bob - interesting find indeed.

Well if GarageGames are such big supporters of Open-source...They wouldn't mind ?
Posting about this in the official (?) TT forum is a bit stupid. Programs like these are in their new making, getting the exe source won't make you better at modding, hell if you can't mod well and look at the code that makes up TGE... Rofl I can just imagine your face. The script files of TGE are insanely high level compared to the code that makes up the executable (I have a licence to it, so I should know) The exporter can only decompile exe's anyway dso's are in no way like exes - dso's are HEX files, exe's are... You don't want me to explain. This compiler doesn't work with TGE (I checked with my own build of TGE, I think it's legal cause I own the game and the code I tested it on) for 2 reasons - it's only a shell of what the devs want it to be, and it gives you C code, TGE is written in C++. This is overal illegal and a waste of time!

PS: Sorry about those bubbles - they're so fun to burst.
EDIT: Oh and, Garage Games like promoting indies, although they do have issues with people stealing their code

Yeah, I agree. The Sourceforge.net projects are basicly for developers to see how to perform various operations. It's not for stealing source code. PLEASE don't pirate software. You WILL get found out...
Sorry to burst your bubble Ishbuu, But there is C++ decompilers out there.
Chong where do you get the idea that Bravetree open sourced ThinkTanks?
Chong - the point I'm tying to make (apparently unsuccessfully) is that it's illegal, illogical, and a waste of time to try to decompile any TGE app. You *obviously* have an issue believing that its impossible to get this done. Have you even tryed any? By doing so you're violating BT's EULA and you are now eligable to be sued, had your key removed, and be banned from PTT. I know all about decompilers and that stuff - nothing is good enough to get close to the actual source (without most of the comments). You'd have better luck tryin to get the source from hacking into my computer. Nobody apreciates threads that are stupid like this - please admin, lock this?

EDIT: I'm 12, so being 'only 13' isn't really an excuse to me

Chong, I have never seen a sourceforge project that functions perfectly. Think about what's right... :o Well, if you're only 13 I guess you couldn't get sued that much, but believe me, you WOULD get banned.
I wish it was a.cs.dso de-compiler (if there is a thing I have no clue what these are lol) so that I could have the.cs and be able to edit that to my liking.....
I dunno about De-Compilers and what not. I frankly don't trust them what so ever so I leave them be. The way that I return an.DLL and what not files is that I just take a complete back of my system and whenever an incident should come that a.DLL or a.SYS or what have you file disappears or becomes corrupt, I just simply reapply my system backup that I took on a disk and viola, my system is back to it's old self.
Go find some friends to talk to, Because quite frankly this has nothing to do with De-compilers.....

Well I have been looking around the net, And I found some De-compilers well I want to know if these things are for real and not just stupid scams.

Oh and here is a link for a decompiler (Hope I didn't offend any ThinkTanks scripters who don't like their source released)
There is loads out there so just look, But this one seemed the most interesting...
