I don't have that stuff. I did almost get the.mac stuff though for pc. Great idea and simple to use. Currently, for that stuff I use google. Lots of fun little tools and ideas. I bet its just a matter of time before they start something similiar to the.mac service, I think it would be foolish if they didn't.
Scuttlebutt on the net is they be reading some kind of partnership or closer ties now that google man sits on the Apple board. Could be interesting.
BTW; just 3 more my little cherry :)

I used to have a.mac account, but when they doubled the price I just let it fade away...
It seems too expensive at $100 a year. I could see $50, but not $100.
It worked great, and was very easy to use. I don't use iWeb but like the features that make it easy to publish sites. I already use other software for the pages I make, so I don't need to do that.
Flea, I use both. We did a.Mac group for the TT convention and it works fine. IWeb is great for throwing up photo albums really quickly. For example, when Roo sent me 80 some odd jpg of all of his Mods, I just opened iWeb and created a website in a few minutes. I have made many simple sites with it. Very convenient.
If you want a simple webpage to share occasional photos, messages, and/or videos with family members and friends, iWeb is a nice little app that can do the trick easily enough. However, if you hope to use it as a professional app for a professional site, it absolutely blows: Slow-loading pages, cross-platform confusion, having to publish your entire site when you make a change, and a myriad of other problems. One only has to go to the apple/iweb discussion forums to see what I mean.
I'm as big a MacHead as the next guy, but Apple reallllly screwed up with iWeb. To put out an app with so many flaws and expect the paying end-user to be their beta testers is truly unbelievable. Shame on Apple for this one!
And, as far as web space is concerned, why would you want to pay $100/year for a.Mac account when you can get this for the same price?:
Whoa. Big thanks, jangles.
I'm putting together a proposal for a website with a professional organization, and your link beats the places I've contacted so far.
I'll be checking it out!
My pleasure. Here's another web host with an amazing plan:

Just curious, any one here using iWeb to publish a Web site? Also, do you use.Mac groups?
I'm think of tossing up a couple of sites and a group or 2 in the near future and would like to hear of any success or failures.
