What is the maximum image size (no text below or above the image) of signatures?

Mine's supposed to be 70px high and its little too big. It took me 36 frames to make this and im too lazy to redo it :S

Its supposed to look like this:

But on my sig it's cut off X/

Pedro (?) said about 44 pix. I resized mine to 351x45 (3/4 of 468x60) and it works fine.

Do I look like Pedro to you? :P Notice how your "g" is cut off though just a tad. Its definatly 44 pixels in height

b20

Maximum sig size commonly should be a thin rectangular shape like Nightmare's.

This is my signature:

First and only ones ive made

You need to set the size and build it from there,, you cant resize or crop an old one without losing some of it.

Re-editted my sig. Little harder to see the black crawling thing effect but oh well. How does it look B)

@Ollvar: sorry im not doing any sigs for anyone yet. I got lots of other stuff to do. Nightmare is offering to make one for you though ;)

^I find your signiture very stylish.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Can you teach me how to make one please :) :) :)

Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 7:15:58 AM

You cant just teach someone how to do that. You have to be patient, have skill, been designing for a while and have the right software.

Ok , I'll be patient. Actually I already have my design. What exactly would be the first step then? :-/

@ fuji I think there's a problem on the link that you just posted.:( Its says " Error 404 ". Can you please check and post it again. XDXDXD

Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 9:17:27 AM

Personally I suk @ sigs.

But if I could take the time to
resize my sig I would like it
more...

But I can't, cuz I dont know how to
do it really fast.

I highly recommend macromedia flash. You can easily create the signature and then save it as an animated gif.

B (no time to make one yet)

If you're thinking of a "much better design", I can't imagine how good it'll look, because the one you've got is great.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 5:19:56 AM

Thank you very much Dj:)

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 6:01:40 AM

New. By far. Like mine?

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 7:55:16 AM

Again Dj thanks :) You bet I do XD XD XD

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 8:14:55 AM

Thanks, I used 6 layers: A colorized clip of another pic, my pixellated DJ, the marble text, the gloss, scanlines, and pixmapped text.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 8:18:34 AM

No wonder its looks good. :) Its worth the effort eh Dj ;) ;) ;) What kinda software are you using anyway, Is it marcomedia flash or photoshop?

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 9:01:55 AM

None of the above. I'm a 100% GNU-metal freak. I don't use ANYHING that isn't open-source- with a few exceptions, like TT and Skype. I use Gimp- it's free, fun, and obscenely powerful. It can also do animations, like my new sig.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 10:01:07 AM

^ If you use the Nvidia driver, that's not open source either.

I personally use Paint Shop Pro 7 running in WINE. IMO more powerful than GIMP.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 10:09:30 AM

WOW!

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 10:14:12 AM

Hmm is my signature animating? It's not animating for me for some reason. Grrr. Must be browser problems again

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 2:17:42 PM

Yeh, it seems to be doing something... Either that or its excited to see me... :o

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 2:31:51 PM

Heh, make a movie for a sig. These are fun! :)

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 3:31:25 PM

^Hard to see what is happening :P
