I've been looking forward to getting the UFO for a while. I'm all excited about it, join a game with it, and I get a MEDIUM!!!!! I try joining with all the other tanks, and they're fine. The UFO doesn't like me!!!!!!! How can this be fixed??? :[

Forgot to add my 'puter specs:

Toshiba Satellite (Laptop).
1.1GHz Pentium III.
512 MGs or RAM.
<don't know my video card, but I think it's a NVIDIA thing if I remember correctly>
Windows XP Service Pack 2 (just ran Windows Update and Symantec Live Update Yesterday, so the newest stuff)

Computer specs are immaterial.

MOST servers don't support the UFO. I don't recall which ones do or don't, you'll have to experiment. I think it's the Shockwave's that don't, but most of the personal ones do.

As far as I can remember... Only servers which have supported UFOs are HomeLan servers, and they have been down for several months. Sorry to dissapoint you, but you can't really use the UFO on any servers at this moment. I'm talking about the UFO which you get from solo game reward.

If you didn't read correctly, it's the solo, quickplay, and target practice offline features that make me a medium when I join as a UFO; I haven't actually tried any of the online servers with the UFO because of my other problem (see other thread about datablocks loading)

Oh my bad, I must have missed that part. I have a UFO too and I decided to try it out myself. None of the three modes worked either for me. I joined in as a UFO, but appeared as a medium. Just like in online servers expect HomeLan servers. That's rather... Dissapointing when you can only use it on few servers, and this servers dosen't even anymore exist. The UFO feature is pretty much a joke right now... All you can do now is just watch it and brag to your friends you have obtained one.

Oh.........................................................dang.....didn't know it was happening to others too..... :( does anyone know how to fix it?

Erm... I really doubt you can do anything about it. Thought some servers have extra codes which supports UFOs. You can use them by saying /ufo(or something similar) and you'll will be changed to a UFO.

It's still not working, so I'll forget it and use the light. I'm still wondering if TT 2, when it comes out, will fix this problem..... Anobody know? :o

Nobody knows the expect the Bravetree. You can't even know if there are actually a UFO and if there's solo mode from which you can get a UFO as reward, but you can hope there's one.

Whats so great about UFO? It has the EXACT same stats as light but the damage it takes in is multiplied by 1.8 rather than the usual 1.

It shoots faster. And more bullets (I think). It goes a tad faster than a light. It looks cool :)

The only servers where you can use the ufo are

Homelan 1,2,3 and league but those arnt there anymore. You can used them at most mods such as CTF and Survivor. Homelan was the 1 you can use them on where most people did but no more homlan. :(

Try joining as a different tank, then using the dash codes to change to a ufo. :)
