Some more food for thought - please don't choke: Grooming Politicians for Christ
Some quotes:
"...a bold effort by evangelical conservatives to mold a new generation of leaders who will answer not to voters, but to God.
" Bye-bye democracy?!?
"If we leave it to man to decide what's good and evil, there will be chaos." Didn't men write the Bible?!?
"Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Va.,... Was founded five years ago with the goal of turning out "Christian men and women who will lead our nation with timeless biblical values." Nearly every graduate works in government or with a conservative advocacy group... "I'm sure there are people who won't appreciate the fact that this class goes on here in the Capitol," Myal Greene said one recent evening. He glanced around the stately dining room, reserved for the institute by a member of Congress. (House regulations allow private groups to hold events in the Capitol as long as they are noncommercial, nonpolitical and do not discriminate based on race, creed, color or national origin.)" Can we say "Against the law!"?!? Oh, sorry, we're supposed to be forgetting about voters, non-biblical laws, etc.
And I wasn't even halfway down the article, folks. I bet our President, our elected President (i.e., not appointed by God), will back these folks. We fight and DIE for democracy overseas while trying to build a theocracy at home?!? Who voted for this crap?!? (notice the irony: voting for people who want to ignore voters...)
So it's not just one single crackpot (Robertson) making off-the-wall comments. WAKE UP, AMERICA!

Pat Robertson is a little nutty anyway.
A little nutty? Understatement of the year.
Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to be on my toes.
Invite a retard to a picnic and you'd better expect to get drool in the potato salad.
Not even worth talking about. We should knock that idiot off though!!! XD

Two kinds of it here, folks, from Pat "Osama" Roberts et al. :
Religious: I don't think Pat remembers the "turn the other cheek" bit o' scripture. Forget WWJD, 51% of us subscribe to What Would Bush Do.
Political: I'm waiting for Pat to start spewing about Bush to see if Rummy and Mr. McCormack finally change their tune. Apparently Pat's funneled too much money to the present people in power to get the usual "shoot first and spin later" treatment. Or maybe he just doesn't fit this Administration's terrorist profile. Rummy's probably starting to get upset that Pat doesn't take the Underground to work ("Yes, Mr. Reporter, I saw that 75-year old pasty religious extremist jump that turnstile with me own eyes. He was wearing a bulky suit-coat and ranting non-stop. Yep, clearly a threat to national security.").
