This is me wearing a tiny money hat. Sorry for the low quality, it is a cell phone pic..
I meant to stick this picture under the one of our lady friend in the skirt, but perhaps I was 2 weeks too late

@ Bolo, don't you know the 5 o'clock shadow is sexy to the ladies? well, some of them anyway
These shoes make my legs look stumpy from behind.... Argghhh...
*giggle* I'm always amused at how women view their own bodies. It's completely different from the way men view women's bodies. Trust me girl, your legs look ANYTHING but stumpy, even in that picture. :)
On a side note, this time of year is always the best eh fellas? The ladies start wearing less and less. Hooboy!! A guy could get whiplash I tell ya!

LOL OM, This time of year is not just great for you boys (NYC is awesome for girl-watching).... But guess what, girl watching can be dangerous.... The other day I was HIT by a taxi cab while crossing the street... It was a hot day and my eyes were filled with the vision of incredible women in short skirts and long legs..... I was apparently struck dumb by their collective beauty and walked right in front of a cab. His tires screeched, and I did my best TT maneuver but the taxi driver had apparently been practicing the Jangy Swipe. I ended up falling forward and slapping my hands onto the hood of the car, my hands stung SO badly..... Yuck... Very close..... The taxi driver screamed at me in some long forgotten ancient Arabic dialect, I apologized, picked up all of the girl-stuff that dumped out of my handbag onto the hood and ground, and we went on our way..... About a half a block later I realized that my left leg was getting sore at the thigh.... I knew that my leg hurt a little right after the incident, but compared to my hands stinging so badly and with my adrenaline pumping, I did not think much of it..... I also didn't know my heart could race so fast. I ended up with a VERY large nasty bruise on my left thigh from hitting the front fender. No permanent damage thank god.... But it kind of makes me shake a bit to think that I was actually HIT by a car... And if I had been just a FEW INCHES closer to the car when it hit my leg, serious damage could have happened and/or I could have been thrown.... Ughhh.
Moral of the story to you fellas.... Enjoy the womenfolk, but lets be careful out there.

Yikes TG! That was a close encounter indeed. I'm glad to say I've yet to be hit by a car from girl-watching. I guess my whiplash is nothing next to getting hit by a car. Are you trying to outdo my injuries from goggling? LOL!
And of course, I didn't mean to exclude you from that activity as well. I just wasn't thinking of that when I wrote my post.
Anyways, I always knew this time of year was dangerous. Let's be careful out there. :)

Aye Paisano, I'm of Italian decent... My grandparents came over on a boat when they were just kids.
Dang TG thats kinda scary....glad u got lucky....
When I was driving around college it is SOOOO hard to not gaze in amazement at the beauty of the college chicks in the summer....i was glued to one girl and damn near HIT another crossing the street...one of my biggest TOOL moments....ack
Enjoy the scenery folks....but b careful

Thanks Bolo.... It didn't seem scary when it happened... Just surprising with a nasty sting. It wasn't until my leg started aching a little later that I realized I TRULY was only inches from disaster. Odd to think that if I had only been two or three inches closer to the taxi when it "bumped" me, I would probably be fighting with a nurse to get me broadband access in my hospital room right about now.
Makes you shake a bit thinking about just how quickly your whole life can turn around... A split second of recklessness and WHAM. Everything changes.
Oh well, I got a good reminder about life and the green-black-purple bruise seems to be diminishing fairly quickly. The bruise got about 7-8 inches in diameter at one point. Yuck.
Katherine the stunt woman.
Better get my pic in there, too.
But it kind of makes me shake a bit to think that I was actually HIT by a car... And if I had been just a FEW INCHES closer to the car when it hit my leg, serious damage could have happened and/or I could have been thrown.... Ughhh.
I have better, 5th grade, riding my bike on a nice summer day. (note, my bike was a very old hand-me-down mountain bike and not only did 5 of the 7 gears not work, niether did the brakes, but who needs brakes when you have cheap rubber shoes?) anyway, I was going down a very large hill, and just as you know it, some guy decides to cross the stop sign right near the end of the hill. And just as I was crosing it I see brite red car come at me from the side... Poor car... I went flying as my mountain bike got under the wheels and the handle bars tore at it's underside (only left a big white scratch, nothing ripped open) made a really bad noise. I landed straight on the pavement. I got up, picked up my horribly damaged bike, and walked it home with the guy following me in his car. I didn't even get a bruise... But I was soo effing scared!!! Holy crap. Lol.
I have a good pain/close to death story
I was I the bathroom taking a shower, got all done... Hopped out and it was all steamy so I wanted to open the window
It was winter time and so the window was frozen shut. The window at the time (this was awhile ago) was up at an angle (one of those push-out ones), so I was hitting it with a lot of pressure from the lower part of my palm on my right hand.
My hand slipped off the wooden lower sill and went right through, and when I thrust it back inside my vein below my palm on the wrist area had been slit in three areas and one of them was the major artery. I was leaking blood like a high-pressure fountain.
So, I didn't feel any pain because of the shock... I stood there for about 20 seconds staring at it, in shock. Then after about a pint had leaked out I realized that if I lost too much I could pass out and die. So I screamed for help... No one heard me. Coincidentally, and luckily might I add, my neighbor from downstairs came up to say hi or something and saw me bleeding. He acted very quickly and grabbed about 50 sheets of paper towel from the kitchen, tied it off and told me to keep my hand above my head. Until then I had just been trying to hold it with my hand and looking for something to use. So, I got to the hostipal and got some kind of numbing/coagulating agent shot and got a quick x-ray to see if any shards of glass were still in the 3-5cm wounds. So I got it stitched and that was that. I didn't die or anything... But it was the most blood I have seen come out of my own body.
Anyway...way off topic... I will snap a photo of me when I am not lazy and actually feel like finalizing the images on the DC.

Yes, about that girl watching...I used to deliver computer supplies in Tempe, AZ, home of ASU. I would be consciously telling myself to be careful but almost every time I drove through the ASU campus I would go through a stop sign or make some other driving error. I took great pride in my driving skills, but no matter how much I concentrated, the girls distracted me. It is a very real traffic hazard! The girls are all tan and scantily clad! %)

Wut that can looking at?!?!?
Tmo who is that moron in the red?
B
TMO is a cat? Cool. I have a better painful story than all of you. Before my dad got screens on the windows of our house, I was hanging out the 3rd story window, sightseeing and watching all the girls below, which makes me think that this was also a girl-watching incident. I leaned over the edge, tried to hold on to a plant growing on our gutter, and fell off. I almost landed on my head.
But I extended my arm and it crumbled upon impact with the hard cement/gravel. It bled for a while and I kinda lay there wimpering for about 3 hours (parents weren't home) until my neighbor came outside and took me inside her house to call 911. When my parents got the message they rushed to the hospital to find me asleep in about 3 different splints. When I woke up I found out that the reason the splint didnt fit me is because my bone had been sticking out. Yuck.
Fortunately, I suffered no permanent damage, and after a month and a half I was outta there playing soccer/baseball/swimming/football etc etc. My most unpleasant experience ever.
P.S. Sorry for triple posting, my internet doesn't load long posts.
Mark the pained.
No serious injuries that can be close to death. But there is something that really scared the crap out of me.One time, I was on my bike riding home from a community center. When I was swimming, I got water in my ear and I couldnt get it out, so I couldnt hear as well as I could for about a day. But anyway, I was going down the street pretty fast when I came to an intersection and this car just stopped in front of me when the driver just noticed I was coming. My front tire hit the car and I went flying into the air and did a forward flip while still on my bike. While I was flipping, my chin hit a tree branch and then I (this is what the driver said) landed back on my bike tires.
W00t was I lucky. I had stiches on my chin but they were minor. I was barely bleeding.
Which community center? Jewish one down on whatchemajigger street?
Yep. Whatchamajigger avenue :P the JCC(Jewish Community Center) is probably the only Community Center Uptown except for the Reilly Center.
