Page : <1> :

Well today I took the scrum of this guy called "poop?" and scored and he got angry and started calling me a ahole etc..... And all throughout the game he kept on bming me even though I could tell he was a good player.......Then he started to acuse me of camping, obviously I paid no attention to him until other well respected people started to dis me (in a nice way) as well.

I dont think I camp at all.... I always go for the scrum and get killed along the way just like everyone else....

So tell me, am I just a sneaky camper........or do you think I play fairly?

Jay, you have shooting skills, defensive skills, and you can run. You don't camp much from what I have seen. Some people just get pissed when they get schooled. The same thng happened to me a few weeks ago. The scrum carrier and I both met in front of the goal via different pads. I blocked the goal and of course the putz protested "camper." It's just an excuse and justification for those who fail.

Let it roll off your back. Apparently he's the one with the problem.

You're a fair player. Nothing more to say. I would even say you're one of best TT-Scrummers.

^ and ^^ are just trying to be nice...

Your a camper and a bmer!... I tell you what, next time you camp or bm I'll tell you, and you can give the ball back to me and not shoot so I can carry on my run to the goal. Sound like a good deal?

-slides off looking evil-

In seriousness I wanna know who this poop person is... I can't work out whether his name is supposed to be a rip-off of mine or not. And he p*sses me off immensely.

I see alot of the top players use a "lurking" technique. I don't think it's intentional, it's just your instinct telling you to get in good position. Alot of times I'll catch a top player hanging out near the goal just sitting there shooting everyone. Again, I think it's just instinct. I once accused the Prof of camping, and he got super pissed. I don't think he was doing it on purpose, it just looked bad. Hanksta will break all the "rules", then mock you in CAPS, meanwhile outscoring everyone by 5 pts. People forget that the only "rule" in scrum is to score . Whether or not you choose to play by the "rules" is up to you.
BTW, I think you play fair, Jay.

Are you kidding?

Jay, your one of the best scrummers out there.

I wouldn't worry too much about a guy named 'poop?' insulting your playing skills.

I'm always going to be better then you at everything you every try doing. But hey, chin up. Your probably the #2 scrummer around here XD

Jay, I hate it when ppl do things like that you head for the cuttoff (which equals the goal) and you make it there at the same time as the other guy and BOOM your a "camper". Stink huh? :[

This is just way to funny. This poop is an idiot, I have kicked him from my server so many times it's become a game for me. He is the worst player at camping and when he screws up at scoring as always he complains that you were camping. He's just not very good at scrum and gets mad about it. Next time he does this just do what I do, Bm him untill he leaves, jay you always play good games when I have seen you, and if anyone can spot a camper it's me. I make a habit of paying attention to it so I can give the all mighty /ban poop. Yea that felt good...

Don't ask questions like that. Seriously. Oh yeah, I would definately pick the latter. XD

Hmm... I think someone called me also a hole yesterday when I made a few min fast visit to SW server. Could been same nick. Dunno, don't really care as dumb stuff like that doesn't effect me any single way. Meh.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

I'm not complaining, but I have noticed that Jay tends to stay near the goal when there is a scrum dance there. The drawback is that it will send some scrum carriers to the other side of the map.

Personally, I don't care who scores as long as there is some good action for me to get in on and the goal is earned. It doesn't hurt to have some tanks providing a last barrier to be defeated at the goal. I have more fun pressing the incoming carrier further out where there is more speed involved. Gotta love the powersliding. %)

Poop may be noticing what I've come to think of as Jay's lag sheild. I swear it takes more hits to kill him than most others. It just means that you have to plan to be shooting for longer than usual to kill him off. ;)

I've never perceived Jay to be a BMer in indy scrum. I enjoy playing against Jay, he's a frequent obstacle to the goal.

First off, camping is an essentail part of a good game, so if someone calls you a camper, take it as a complement. :)
Second, you do much more than camp, Jay, so don't let what someone calls you effect you. Because if they have to use an excuse like saying that you're camping, then they're basically admitting that you're better than they are.

Camper XD jk. Nah your a good player even if you do get in the way all the time :P

Well I basically agree with BC on this one. Adds action in TS. Of course, most ppl can't even camp well...which kinda is dissappointing. If you are gonna do something, at least do it if your good at it.

Jay is very good at indy...and is a position player. He stays between the goal and the ball and knows how to get himself in the right place to take advantage of opportunities. There are many players who are better drivers and better shooters...but very few stay as consistently well-positioned as Jay. He doesn't out and out "camp"...but he very rarely gets himself outside of the area between the ball and the goal.

A good player knows when to be a good camper...

Dude.... I'm a camper and BMer but you don't see people yelling at me :)

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

There isn't a word camper in the advanced player dictionary. When he uses the word camper he wants to make sure the lesser players understand him. Nuff said.
