Ok, it's time for some of us to own up to some of the new (and sometimes strange) aliases that we've been using while playing TT.
Come on, be a man and reveal the truth. What names have you used lately that no one knows?

I've revealed a bunch of the names I'ved used and it's felt great. I've been using Paisano a lot more too.
A wise man once said, "Own the name, earn the respect".

Here are some names that I would like to know more about. They are all excellent scrummers by the way...

Dlael
USA#1
3limey
blazing saddles/cherry picker (who r u really?)
Killer (anon?)
homer (I think it's Burnsie...another simpson character name)
MESS (might be Triv bot)
FUBAR (used to be lonewolf, but not anymore)

What are some other names you would like to know the owner of?

Here are some aliases that I know of:

Stinkfingers=Vagisil
Leopard=ED&TheLittleBluePill
The Professor=FloppyManMammaries
44=44KidsTo20DifferentWomen
Tally Ho=Ayatollah Feelmebollahs
ROGUE=ManThatUrinalWaterIsCold
Paisano=GreaseIsTheWord
Rabban=DropKickMeJesusThroughTheGoalPostsOfLife
KillinBrainCells=FourScoreAndSevenBeersAgo

And finally...
Bolo=IWentToTheGayPrideParadeAndAllIgotWasThisLousyT-Shirt

Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to be on my toes.

Invite a retard to a picnic and you'd better expect to get drool in the potato salad.

Hmmm... ROGUE, those are pretty damn funny. Pais, I heard people accuse KILLER of being Tally Ho. It's funny though, KILLER and I seem to come out dead even almost EVERY GAME we play against each other in Solo Scrum. MESS, I don't think he's an alias at all, same with Cherry Picker. Unless those two are alias' of known battle moders.

Thursday, August 12, 2004 at 12:45:53 PM

Saw another one today called WHO IS BOLO?
They played very well and claimed to be new to scrum... Hmmm

Thursday, August 12, 2004 at 1:34:18 PM

@Rogue - You're kidding, right? The only "religious" aliases I've used have been "Wormwood" and "Israel".

For awhile there I was using "Bong Fukada", a name I picked up from some e-mail spam. I though it sounded cool with its drug and sex references. "Bolo has been killed by Bong Fukada" had a neat ring to it. :)

Thursday, August 12, 2004 at 1:51:14 PM

Yes, Rabban they're all a goof.

Lol

@Bolo - Dude, I didn't say it was this week. I haven't played "Bong" for a long time, but rest assured I can manage to kill you at least once during a 15 minute game of anything. XD

You're good, but you're not that good.

There is one unknown scrummer that I find reasonably good, ZiMP. ZiMP = Dar?

Friday, August 13, 2004 at 10:48:07 AM

Who was FlakJacket? He was a very good scrummer then disappeared.

Who can Figure out this puzzle ?

Well if you convert the ascii values of that mumbo jumbo to binary and then bit shift each second set of 5 bits, convert each set of 7 bits to hexadecimal Then 'XOR' each value against the closest prime number to the square of the initial value then split the whole string into 8 equal length sets and take the average between all 8 values (in each position), then convert that back into Ascii, you end up with:

What 4 wA5Te Of timE this Sp4M p05t was, buT can y0u Tell me wHere The b0lo coDes caN be doWnLo4Ded?

Paisano,

I think you have raised this topic a number of times, whilst above I was only too happy to disclose some of the aliases that I no longer use, you have to understand the only reason as to why people use aliases is to, and I quote -z-

Play in peace occasionally

So why would anyone disclose an alias? I understand that you are just being curious, and there is no harm in asking, however as I have stated in other threads, I rarely play as serial killa these days.

SK

@Serial killer
I understand why people use aliases. Shoot, I've used a ton of them myself!
I just enjoy finding out the real players behind some of the aliases that we've all played against.
I do not expect anyone to stop using aliases once they reveal the ones they've used. I fully expect them to come up with new ones.
In the mean time, we can all get a little kick out of discoering the real people behind some of the aliases we've seen out there.

That's all. No one has to reveal anything if they like a particular name and want to keep using it.

Friday, August 13, 2004 at 7:14:06 PM

Paisano,

I understand that your thread is harmless, and I don't have a problem with it either. Stan is just as curious as you, always trying to find out the person behind an alias. I guess I am different in that I couldn't care as to who is or isn't using an alias.

Is it highly unlikely that a player will surface out of nowhere, and start to make a huge impact on the game, so it is likely that they will be using an alias.

Since I have taught a number of players in TT, I know the style of my students, furthermore I also know the style of most top players since I have also played with them for a while now - so in some instances it is not hard to guess who they really are.

I've been using aliases lately... Sometimes it's nice to go in as an unknown and just play without being bogged down with chat. Nothing against chat, I'm just not into it "all the time". But it didn't take long for people to figure out that I was a fraud. I was accused of being Bolo, Jangles, Tally, even Hanksta before I finally came out and confessed. LOL XD

Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 2:01:12 AM

Must have been doing well!!

Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 4:48:07 AM

It's funny, whenever I use alternate names to 'play in peace', as it's been called, people almost always ask if I'm 44. Not to long ago I was asked something I haven't heard in awhile, but used to hear nearly everytime I signed on... "Are you Jangles??" I don't think 44 and Jangles play the same, but somehow I usually get that from people. Maybe I have a deffensive game like 44 and an offensive game like Jangles. Hmmm...... That doesn't sound to bad

As for the alias' I use for a 'peaceful' game of scrum, it's usually a mock/theme of people that are there. Pai had mentioned doing that before, and yeah, it's fun. Sometimes they're mean, sometimes not, but they're all in good fun. XD Like I saw "Righty" before, so I came in as "Lefty", I saw 2 JFDNYsucks type of names, so I came in as one. Etc. Etc.

Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 11:26:30 AM

Well, I have had some aliases, but I will keep them secret, so you will need other methods to find out

...The Mod Reviewer (Leeds)...

Friday, September 24, 2004 at 4:19:58 PM

Well the only alias I have ever had was "The Muffin Man", and I used to be Spirit(seal) but I quit the seals.

Amateria was a weird name of mine. I kept for a day then got rid of it(People were saying I was a girl)

Friday, September 24, 2004 at 10:56:17 PM

I only have other name and that is redbeard, but I never use it.

(People were saying I was a girl)

I believe that. It does sound a little girlish.
