@ pai
I use Google - although it doesn't catch the posts within a week, it does catch some of the older stuff...as well as caches of items which Lone has now deleted.
@ Chief & Paisano
I would love to have away to search for a topic !
Also if something is deleted, it doesn't mean it is really deleted. So If you ever need something that we Moderators might have deleted just look for us ! As long as it was deleted and not rewritten we can pull it back out of the system ! B)
@ Racer
Why are you being so hard on yourself brother?
Hell man - I make mistakes everyday. I own up to 'em and move forward - part of life.
^ Imposter - and an asshole to boot.
^ No its him. :[

I've asked for this before and -z- said that it was in the works, but then it got sidelined for valid reasons. Anyway, I'd like to bring it back to the forefront again. I truly think we need a search feature for the PTT forums! Either that or go back to listing all topics in one long page. It takes far too long to go thru all of the pages manually looking for a past topic. The end result is not good because most of the time we just decide to create yet another thread/topic on the same one that we can't find (or don't have time to search for).
The search tool should allow us to find threads by keywords in the subject line or actual thread or replies in that thread. We should also be able to search by the name of the poster (who created the thread or reply). Being able to search by date range would be nice too, but not as critical.
Examples: I would like to search threads for aliases or names. Or Team Scrum....others might want to see every thread about something else like HALO or Call of Duty just to see if anyone's ever mentioned them before. Etc. Etc.
What other ideas do you have that would improve the PTT experience???
