Okay - when is GDF available to play? I would really prefer not to go digging through the other threads. What exactly is GMT (Grenwich Mean Time?) and what is the differential between it and a US time zone (i.e. CST, EST). I can go from there.

Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 3:52:48 PM

Prof, GMT is 5 hours ahead of EST, 6 hours ahead of (my time zone) Central Standard Time. 8 hours ahead of Pacific.
I personally think the only way to get a decent game of each team is to play on a weekend day.
I don't think anyone on our team can play before 6:00 Ceentral which is already midight for GDF.

Playing on a week end would allow us to span a 10:00 to 8:00 range between time zones. Of course our game would be early as they're time zone is ahead of ours.

Ok im awake so want to play a saturday game?
around 10pm or 10am gmt

Sunday, February 27, 2005 at 1:18:28 AM

GDF are from GMT timezone and GMT +2 timezone... I believe.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Proposed times and date:

For RNG, it is Friday, March 4 @ 6:00pm.
This would make it Saturday, March 5 @ Midnight for GDF (i.e. Late night Friday).

Hopefully this isn't too week-endy for MM...please let me know if it is.

I could also do a Midnight CST match most weeknights, which would be 6am or 8am for the Eurpoean folk. If GDF could pleaes clearly state their windows of availability it will be much easier to organize this.

Sunday, February 27, 2005 at 6:13:11 AM

I could do either although I prefer the midnight (CST) but will play the 6.pm if necessary.

I can't do 6am weekdays.....school.
I'm all for the midnight one....11:30 would be better if possible.

Monday, February 28, 2005 at 10:48:46 AM

I dont stay up late I get tired very easily

Monday, February 28, 2005 at 1:40:40 PM

@ Kristoffer - your post gives me little guidance on your availability. I need to know a time frame which will work for you...unfortunately, I am unable to read minds.

@ GDF - I have yet to hear from your third man

It looks like Friday is out, and as MM has mentioned weekends are out for him. I am guessing RNG can do a Thursday late night...

@Chong - when does school start over there? We could maybe play a few hours earlier. That would enable you to play before school. You would probably have to go to bed sooner, or miss a few hours sleep? If anyone else has ideas let's hear 'em.

Monday, February 28, 2005 at 2:40:33 PM

I can also do a late Thursday.

Midnight, saturday ?

Monday, February 28, 2005 at 10:52:01 PM

Midnight Saturday works for me.

Monday, February 28, 2005 at 11:12:12 PM

Could you people please put which time zone and midnight for which team your refering to?

Unless I'm mistaken if you're refering to a Midnight on Saturday, Mystery Man has already stated that he can not do weekends. If it's a Saturday at midnight for RNG, that would be a 6.a.m. Game for GDF.

Maybe we should take this to email and then post the agreement here.

I dont saty up late so sorry

Tuesday, March 01, 2005 at 11:38:52 AM

Kris, Chong and Minox.

Please post you available times so we can see what can be worked out. Saying "up late" doesn't help anyone figure out the a time we can schedule a map. Please be specific that the time your specifying is your own time zone. Thanks!

Im GMT +2. %)

@ Kristoffer™

I dont stay up late I get tired very easily

What in gods name does this mean, and WTF does it have to do with anything I know in the world?

Wednesday, March 02, 2005 at 6:19:39 AM

I am interpreting Minox's post to translate into either

A) 7am CST (15 - 8 = 7) assuming his 15.00 is 3pm his time or
b) 7pm CST (3 after his midnight - 8 = 7pm) assuming his 15.00 is 3 after midnight

I can do either...but the bigger questions is am I interpreting this post correctly?

Wednesday, March 02, 2005 at 6:41:18 AM

O. I mean, 3pm GMT.

I've got school at 8.45-15.00pm GMT. So I can play midnight, but not at 8.45-15.00pm GMT.

Wednesday, March 02, 2005 at 12:05:06 PM

48 hours till lock-down on this thread. The kids need to get it together, or RNG is moving along.

^No it's Hebrea. I have been studing it lately here in ptt... And I'm getting slowly better in it.

I wish I understood it. Not only that, I wish it answered the question that was asked. More often than not, it odes not answer the question.

Looks like a forfeit is coming. Too bad I wanted to play.

Napalm!
kris is the one letting are team down!
me and minox are up for this match!

Thursday, March 03, 2005 at 11:59:28 AM

Chong, I completely agree. I don't hold anything against either of you two. The whole situation is kind of sad. We should be playing.

So if this is a bye, we will only play two games and be in the finals. (providing we would win the second game when we play it.)

Is there a possibility of a substitute? You've really only played 1 game, just as we have.

Thursday, March 03, 2005 at 12:05:54 PM

Chong and Min, apologies. Another tournament will arrive after psyschoscrum.
Kris will not be invited to return. We can all lift our feet back and give him a collective boot in the arse.

Thursday, March 03, 2005 at 6:50:12 PM
