I think many people know this already, but they haven't said anything. I found a cool feature in the Prefs.CS file in the client folder called AutoTurn...

Basically, its self-explanatory. When you turn the mouse to the far right or left, the tank will rotate itself!

This is the line...

$pref::Tank::autoTurn = "0";

Just change it to..

$pref::Tank::autoTurn = "1 ";

Enjoy!

I tried adding it myself, but it didnt work, are you sure that it is there, and that the game with it is TT?

It's the Prefs.CS file in the client folder... If you still can't find it, then I'll email it to you! ;)

BTW, is your email in your profile?

Yea
But what I was talking about is that that pref is NOT on my pref.cs in the client folder!
I tried adding the pref into the file, it compiled etc BUT DID NOTHING lol

NP Zebo... B) I only thought it would work for me...

Friday, May 27, 2005 at 5:53:25 PM

I am 99% sure that it only works with the Shockwave version. :)

The new one messed up my game so I downgraded, maybe it only works with the new version..

Why is it that it only works w/ Shockwave, and not the Bravetree version?

... But for those who have the Shockwave version of TT, turn on the AutoTurn feature..

I have version 1.1 but I'm paranoid to change anything that could potentially screw up the game, because my ignition key was disabled, and I don't feel like spending another $20.00 the create and offline are already messed up, and I (luckily) have another backup copy of TT which (unluckily) the online function is screwed up, and the offline functions DO work o.0 :S (did that happen to anyone else :o ). Btw, is there a newer version out? 8o

I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find tupperware hidden in the woods... What do YOU do?

Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 7:25:22 AM

Wow, tough luck, Niko...

Still, just back-up your original Prefs.CS file and replace it w/ the one I CAN send you... That's if you wanna try it out! 8o
