I'm thinking...

The word "ure" sorta fires the imagination.

Ure Momma and ure Grandmama!

I'm going to add "yallways" to my custom dictionary too.

Short for "you always." Although it could also mean "you all always." Or, "y'all always."

Very versitale expression.

My oldest daughter, who is now nine, was so excited after kindergarden one day four years ago when she learned how to spell. She said to one of her oldest friends, " I can spell cow!" Her older friend guffed, " Oh boy, I can spell cow; I can spell anything!" To which my daughter replied, " ok, spell photosynthesis! " Her friend just went %)

@ All,

I like the word "I"... Because it is such a difficult word to spell. Also "I" is a self fish word because it is always about me, and that's the way things should always be.

Yes, "acrost" is good too, but haven't come acrost it much in PTT though. It shall be added since BC thinks presidentially.

Discribe:

"Di" meaning two, and "scribe" being a professional copyist of manuscripts and documents.

So discribe walks into a bar. The first scribe says to the bartender.....

"cuz" is here a lot. It's a lot of places.

Not my "cuz" George, my uncle's boy.

It's the please-back-the-car-off-my-foot-cuz-it-really-hurts "cuz."

Oh man. You guys got zippy on the hood where I grew up. Nobody butchers the English language like the folks from Pittburgh. Baltimore may be a close second but the Burgh is the clear winner.

Check this link: http://www.pittsburghese.com/

I recommend starting with the nouns and verbs before checking out the phrases. If you do your brain will pop.

Yes, I actually talk like that when with my boys or family back home in the Burgh. Of course when I'm three sheets to the wind it just oozes from my vocal chords.

Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to be on my toes.

Invite a retard to a picnic and you'd better expect to get drool in the potato salad.

@ ROGUE,

Now everything makes sense after seeing pittburguese. Somehow in an odd kind of way I comprehend the obscure world you come from.

In regards to the site on Picksburg, I about fell out. It was puttin french fries in a ham sammich. The Burgh thing is a can of corn though.

I like efficient spelling. You jest gotta have a way to ketch on.

Like finding a key. Like you shows up here and says, "Man, sup wif dis? Yainga bleevis!" Wit a key to the lingo, now it's s'not a prob.

Yo yo, double yo! Oh mi-laundry, that was good.
