Napalm's Hostile Takeover
Napalm's Blind Bombers launched a bid worth $2.25 billion for smaller rival Mad Bots, the first hostile takeover offer in the history of the tank gaming industry.

The opening bid sets the stage for a second round of consolidation in the tanking sector.

The offer is being led by
"The Nappy one"-

and underscores the efforts of all to achieve greater scale.

"They are very aggressive in their ambition," said Tank McPuttin, a prominant Think Tanks community member. "It's a very, very significant deal."

Napalm's Blind Bombers, held months of talks with Mad Bots, the second-largest, on a possible friendly takeover. But the two sides were unable to agree on a price even though some of Mad Bots top shareholders favoured a deal.

Hoping to fend off the inevitable hostile bid from Napalm's blind bombers, Mad Bots last week put itself up for general sale with chief executive KC hoping to attract an alternative "white knight" suitor.

Napalm's Blind Bombers said on Monday it would pay Mad Bots shareholders.08 a share for the group, valuing it at.2 times book value. The offer comprises.08 in cash plus.5 in loan stock that may be converted into Napalm's Blind Bombers shares. The offer came at a narrow 1 per cent premium to Mad Bots last traded price of.04 before its shares were suspended from trade.

Analysts said it was unlikely Mad Bots would escape from Napalm's Blind Bombers clutches as rival groups might to want to go head to head with its government-backed, Malay-orientated predator. "That Napalm is a real S.O.B too."

There was no word from Mad Bots on its response to the Napalm offer. To clinch the deal, Napalm's blind bombers needs the support of at least.03 per cent of shareholders, plus one share.

All kiddin aside, KC offered me mad Bots' which I really enjoyed. I have installed Mad Bots and have reduced the number of bots to two. Hopefully that will make for a more enjoyable experience.

Yes folks you heard right. The Mad Modder Napalm himself, has aquired Mad Bots, lock, stock and barrel. Those of you who enjoyed the insanity before, will now only have to cross over to Nap's place to re-kindle the madness.

They were on Blue Island this morning. Kicked my arse they did, they did.

I ran into them in a few maps yesterday afternoon. I ran into KC in the Dust Bowl.

For some reason, they like the "Ellin Back" mod. I really had to work to stay ahead for the first half of the game.

I see napalm that the announcement came after suzy and botchula smoked my a** at lunch yesterday. And KC in there just laughing at me while I was all "what the H***". So rude of you guys to drop this kind of thing on us poor unsuspecting players without warning.

I did play on the side of the bots for a little while in a 2-3 match. That was a sweet round. Those bots are better teammates than quite a few of the "live" players I've played with.

It would be fun to see those bots popping up in random mod's. Then we would never know when the bots are going to be the normal dumb ones and which are going to sneek up on you and BAM.

Be afraid... Be very afraid. These "Nappy Madbots" are not to be toyed with.
