Uh, I can't seem to do it. Whenever I try starting TT on my <ahem> older computer, it tries, but it can't open the Main.cs file. It just throws up some dialog boxes and I have to say, "OK".

I looked in the file and the text seemed straightforward enough. Is something else going on?

Try doing a control-click or a right click on it and go to "OPEN WITH" then open it with textedit or winzip.

Sure, I can manually open the file, but TT can't. Its giving me an error message and shutting down. So I can't play TT at home!

Theres this "TamperedDlg.gui.dso" file under game/client/ui that seems to check to make sure that you havent changed the code

I'm still trying to decode it but I don't know how such a small code can check all of think tanks program code (that more than 2 megs)

You should try to reinstall think tanks (its the only way I found)

Rabban: If it is failing to load TT, then you have probably messed up the file somehow. If you make a shortcut to TT and add " -console" at the end of the command line for the shortcut, then it should open up a console window which would show a better error message, allowing you to pin point which line of the file has the error. It might be as simple as a missing semi-colon or an unclosed curly bracket.

Actually, it would probably be a good idea if I had a couple of zipped 'main.cs' files (for Mac and PC) in the files section so that people who didnt back up their original file can download and use the original one.

Can someone with a mac send me a zip of their (preferably clean and original) 'main.cs' file and I'll add them to the site.

No problem. I'll email my clean backup for the Mac. It's only 17k, so doesn't seem to be any need to zip it.

I'd prefer it zipped just for the purpose of putting it on the web and keeping all downloads as zip formats, but thanks :)
