I opened up TT1_3 in Notepad and changed the terrain for it to use to the one that I created (with help from GQ). But when I start up my server I get that error that says I have an invalid packet. What did I do wrong?

Host it using a dedicated server if you aren't already.

It gave me an error like this...

***********************************************************************************
***********************************************************************************
***********************************************************************************
PLEASE RESAVE THE TERRAIN FILE FOR THIS MISSON! THANKS!
***********************************************************************************
***********************************************************************************
***********************************************************************************

So.. Thats what I did.

Then I checked to see any further errors and I found a bunch of:

No such file: game/data/terrains/blueterrain/blueterrain03.jpg

And it just kept repeating it over, and over, and over...

That is normal. Ignore it. It is just telling you that you are not using a stock terrain.

As for the No such file: game/data/terrains/blueterrain/blueterrain03.jpg, is that file actually there? You should go look for it.

Yup it's there all right. But I'm wondering if maybe the sky is the problem now. I tried to change the sky in the game engine and it gave me an invalid packet error. I don't know how to avoid it either.

Are you by any chance using the mission file from TGE?

Houston we have a problem.
I gave you basic instructions in your other thread, if you read them and follow them you will not have this problem.

Okay.. Everything is good now! A big thanks to both of you! You have been a great help.
@GQ I think I may have frustrated you a bit. Sorry.

Once again, thank you both.

No not at all, I was just trying to get you to slow down and pay attention. Some times if you make some one read something a few times it all makes since to them.
This is how I had to learn also, and do not take me so serious when I seem to be short tempered, I really do mean to help you.

Okay, thanks for taking the time ;)

EDIT: Here's the finished product! (coming soon to a server near you)

Mountain Range Raceway
