AOA Awards=AncientOne's Army Awards

Look your best Armies, because the AOA Awards are here!

Well I've given much thought to this idea. It will be a small little annual army awards, where a group of people (including I), will decide what clans wins a certain award. There will be various awards to be won, like most well made, most inspirational, most organized, best name, and etc. The biggest award to win would be the Best Army. The lowest award (which I hope I don't have to do) is the Worst Army Award.

For example, if UF was to win the Best army award, then they will get this...

to put in their Army header, and show that they are the Best Army around.

Three special awards will be:
AO's Honorary Army Award (my award to who I will grant to the army I believe has worked the hardest, done the best, and has
acheived much in its history)

The People's Army Award (you the members of various armies will vote for who you all believe to be your favourite and best army)

"The Three Founders" Award (you the members will vote on who you believe as the three most prominent Army members in TT, that you think have helped form guidelines and inspiration for all the armies and done much)

I will begin to start making these awards soon, and will need possibly four prominent members known in the Armies. If you have some award ideas, please tell me. What do you say to this, fellow army members?

Also what is the deadline or when are we going to post the winners ? 8o

Right now we should be worrying on polishing up which awards to keep, dispose of, modify, or make.

In my eyes we should cut down a certain number so that the clan's army header isn't filled with gold

No I see a lot of them talking about going to it.
What you all don't realize is that slows down PTT.the more stuff it has to up load every time you click on a thread the longer it takes to upload it.

The average thread on PTT takes me about 1.05 seconds to open.
SA thread takes me about 10.1 seconds for it to open.
Need I say any more ?

we obviously are #1 in longest load time, but I'd say you guys do strike 2nd....

You are right to have your own HO.
Thats the great thing about USA.

Just don't understand why you have every one brioken into ranks with badges next to them.

but it you can not figure it out from the main Member list,
then you must have some real issues.

Yes, we must vote on a "worst army", to make the army want to do better and improve itself.

A new army could be described as one that has been in existence for 3 months or less

My vote: MA army

Reasons why: getting many members, excellent main post and very organized.

Just thought I'd chime in with this idea - perhaps a recognition to an army that has servived the first critical weeks of being a NoOb army

I think we should have a best player award. The only rule is they cannot be on your team end of season that is

Ehhhhh... I dont like best player.... And I wouldnt be able to vote for that one, since I dont play anymore.

^Same. No player is better than the other in all fields of skill. Also, best Bm and Scrum player is not good either, due to the fact we all have mixed opinions, and almost no one vote can be the same. Finally most helpful member will not work, because we all have helpful members in our own respected armies....also that would be too many awards to make :)

I think UF is the best army.

LONE, I can give you the winners, but the plaques and pictures still need some time. If you would like the names of the winners now, just tell me, but the awards will have to take a bit longer.
