Okkey, what date and time work for all of us?

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Fair enough Tally. Fair enough. Sorry if I've offended my oponents.

I think all of the guys involved are good people. If the likes of GDF can have an extended period to get the game done, it's a no-brainer to give Stan, Wiz, Triv, Pai, Senior Monkeeman, and Demolition some extra time. There have been too many byes already.
Come on guys, We are all frustrated, but we need show some understanding for people in another time zone. It's difficult to realize that it's 7 or 8 hours ahead somwhere else. We have plenty of time to get the few remaining games in, and declare a champion. It will belittle the tournamnet if we keep axing teams because of scheduling difficulties. It appears everyone has been communicating unlike RNG's last meeting with GDF.

I personally am asking to allow this game to move forward. The next two rounds should not be as difficult to get scheduled.

Let 'em play!

Tally, please sheath that axe for just a bit more. TY, TY.
Pai, what do you say? Maybe we should sit down and have a cople of Pizzelles. Take a breath my freind. Please maintian flexibility.

@ All
No offense but rules due state," 1 week time period once we finish 1 round." This is second round and you all are on your 12 day of trying to schedule, in 2 more days you all have had 1 extra week then whats allowed. So I think you have had your extended period. Sorry for butting in but this is a joke ! B)

Unsolicited advice:

At 6:00 PM Sat - MokeeMan was at a server ready to play. Also present: wiz, stan and triv

I think the 6:00 PM eastern time deadline on Saturday Tally initiated should be honored. Let me explain my feelings. The day that I was to play RNG in early round, my kid was so sick. We had a terrible week as a family, and I hadnt had the time to practice with NUTS! Or Dash. We played without EVER playing together. We stillI showed and played RNG. We lost terribly...

This is silly and as Lone said, is way outside what has been allowed for others. Move on... Either kill it or set a new deadline, like Sunday at 9:00 Eastern. Otherwise, shut this thing down. It is dragging, and I doubt an agreement will be reached...

I would say give the teams until the end of the day (whoever's day, it really doesn't matter, U.S. Is behind so it probably should be ours) tomorrow (Sunday March 6th) otherwise Tally should move a team forward.

Just til the end of the weekend. Gives just a bit of notice.

Ok. We finally agreed upon a (very good) solution, to play this game 2 on 2. So, Stan was sitting out. Then there were Trivox, MonkeeMan (who is a very good sportsman! I like him a lot), paisano and me. Paisano said it was laggy and went out, leaving us 2 on 1. I felt sorry for MonkeeMan who was left alone (although he said that was ok - kudos to him), so I also left the game.

You guys were being great sportsmen. We decided to do the game then and there. Both captains and all members agreeing. So that is what we did.

You guys did a lot to accommodate and be extremely fair today. Thank you and congrats to ya!

Disagree... They saw opportunity to get a cheap victory and did so. Fine.... What goes around comes around. I don't think they were good sportsmen.
I would NEVER accept victory as cheap as this crap. Only insecure weasils would ever accept such a win. Enjoy your cheese....rats.

For the love of Pete Bot Pai, chill!!

We decided to play today. Both cpts and members in attendance agreeing on a 2 v 2.

It sucks that you had all those problems happen right then and there (must have been some weird planetary alignment) but the game must go on.. Win or lose.. Never surrender.. Never give up... Battle to the end!!

Be a good sport and get on with it.

Saturday, March 05, 2005 at 6:07:43 PM

I have no problems accepting defeat and being a good sport when I actually play a game and lose!!! I don't like being screwed the way my team was by these guys.
I'm over it now. They were clever and got over on us. They knew they were about to get the axe from Tally Ho and finally decided to show up when Demolition wasn't there.
I only popped on to see what was going on and thought we agreed to Sunday at 5 pm.

Whatever... Please lock this thread. I will never think about this whole mess again.
