This is a graduate student course, and I'm only a beer-swilling sophomore, but does the TT Mod Pack have to grow ever bigger? I assume 95% of downloads are by us addicts. Even with my blazing fast fiber optic connection (play lie detector noise) it gets old schlepping 30+MB every coupla weeks.

Would it be possible to post updates in folders (maybe Dec, Jan, Feb) as well as a grand collection for the rare but highly sought after noob who wants 'em all? I know there's a "recent additions" folder but I never know if it has what I missed.

Please forgive my temerity in coming into the graduate reading room at all, and know I deeply and truly appreciate the work of those who post the updates for us unworthy whiners...

Peace out, Mk

Yes, I have hired a staff of 18 workers to administrate the implementation of this idea. It has been exhausting interviewing everyone. But I think the investment will be worthwhile. I am selling my house to pay for all of them, and I found a nice streetcorner to live on. Unfortunately I won't have cable anymore, but I have invented a wind-up wireless modem that I pieced together from a can-opener and an old TV-antenna. But I will sleep well, knowing that this will save you 30 or 40 seconds of your precious time. :P

MkIV... YOU FOOL.. Never talk to the great collector of all things MOD like that. He might do the unthinkable and say "Fine do it yourself". And then where would all us leeches upon their genius be?

We must come humbly upon our knees with our tongues licking up the crumbs that they give us. Ever grateful that we can be in their presense. ;)

Or in other words don't piss off someone who is giving you something for free. XD

MkIV

I know it get a litlle old at times but I don't see a better way. There's a base pack, and a recent additions. All the person really needs to do is download the the whole thing each time. Unless there's someone using a dial up I can't image it can be that long.

This way you get everything.

Just be gald you don't have to keep downloading the X pack each time a new mod comes out.

Hopefully if GG ever does decide to advance to aTT2 I jut may go all the way and create installes for each platform. But we'll see.

BTW Reagent X, Thanks for doing this. And, you got a purty mouth. Yuk yuk.

^ LOL.

Remember eachtime I update the Mod_Pack (which I am happy to keep doing) I have to upload the SOB the whole thing each time. Uploading is much slower than downloading (hence my lack of sympathy).

BTW, I always post in the Mod_Pack thread whenever I update it, so when you see it bumped (esp. With my name as the last poster) you can be pretty sure that it has been updated.

Well MkIV I have attempted o help a bit too
Just went thru every stinkin' map in the whole bloody pack
and according to my preferences for scrum maps was able to re-use 7 maps
Thats right I tested 250+ maps and only found 7 that I can recycle
So March MODness - which is a total rotation swap out I intend to do
when I return will have 9 new mods and 7 new missions on old maps
for a total of 16
You'll only have to Preload half of them
Just tryin' to ease your pain
hehe

^^ Ack! I have the same experience with the ModicaPack, except I recently stopped and just made little additions so I don't have to keep uploading the same thing.
