Do americans have remebreance day?

And I love having poppys if u dont have 1 its sad because it shows how you don't care why millions of people died it also appals me to watch news this morn and find that younger generation (20-30) (not me im teen) though the poppy was something to do with the government and dint know what they were but if it becam efashionable they'd wear it!
