Tomorrow, at 6 PM-ish, we're heading off to France, in case anyone forgot. I just wanted to say goodbye before I start packing for the long stay in Toulouse (3 months). I checked with my dad, and he confirmed that yes, we're getting DSL there, so I won't be without TT for long!

I'll post here again when I'm in France and once I've gotten over jet-lag. Until then...this is Spunky, signing off.

Here I am in Paris - we're all stopping here until Tuesday to catch up on the time-change and jet-lag. Blech. No wonder they call that flight the "red-eye"...I'm exhausted and struggling once again to understand the simplest of French sentences.

On a lighter note, we got a Peugeot! Those things are cool, and it seems most everyone in France has one. Maybe this time we can blend in a little more...but I doubt it, since we brought casual clothes and we've been seeing lots of formal outfits in everyday situations...maybe next time we'll remember some nice clothes.

Cool, Spunk! I hope you're having a great time. I've always wanted to visit Paris... :(

It's great fun, and for the 2 meals that we've been awake for (breakfast/lunch, dinner), the food was excellent. I can already feel my cholesteral go sauring upwards...mmm, but baguettes, smoked salmon, scallopini alfredo, and steak is sooooo good. :) :)

Right now, Paris...Toulouse on Tuesday. It will take a 6-hour drive, but will be worth it definetly! Maybe there, someone can speak some English.

I don't know the street, there are too many of them to count and find the one we're on. But, we're about 3 blocks away from the Tour Eiffel!

Phew, finally made it to Toulouse, in the middle of the bustling city, after 6-something hours of driving and stopping at rest stops. As we traveled south, the lands got more and more dusty, barren and lifeless...I guess that wasn't a good omen. :S

Anyhoo, we just got internet and cable set up, so expect a lot more of me!
