How comes some people have Small tanks with different colors, but some people have Dots? X/
What do you mean, Pedro?
He means that some people doesn't have regular dots. They have a tiny tank icon instead of a dot. He who is using them most likely have created them by himself or someone else created it and gave it to him.
You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
Please post the map names too...
Because "Mr. Cool" (aka Rabban) modded the dot map into a lil' tank. B)
Jun 9th - Lackawanna Camel Jockeys vs Falsetto Ferrets.
Maps: game 1 was played on Receptor Ridge, game 2 on Ganglia Gully. (Even when we first entered the server, the map was Synaptic Slopes... When will these frantic lava terror maps dissappear? 8o.)
It was two good and fun games! Both games were played out real smooth, without complications and on schedule. Always nice playing with ya, Jockeys.)

Actually aster, you bring up a good point. I think we've played receptor ridge every week no matter what the timeslot. That was the map danmac restarted the server on us, wasn't it?
If we are rotating the maps (server guys, help me out) shouldn't the earlier games always have a different map set then the later games?

^ Yes, it was Recept. Ridge when he restarted it on us. I think that it depends on how many maps there are. Let's say there are 2 maps for each terrain type, I'm not sure if that is correct, but:
Then if the server was restarted at 9.30, beginning with Recept. Ridge, 4 maps will have rotated by the start of game two. Now, the strange thing is that in our last game, there had been 3 frantic maps in a row; one when we first entered the server, one at game 1 and one at game 2. After the third frantic map, when we had finished the game, finally, a lush map arrives. So, a logical thing to do is, to investigate if the rotation is random or not , by checking it out in some pick up games. If it's random, then there's probably nothing we could do. If not, then, well... I don't know, we'll have to think about it during the week, because I believe we all agree that the frantic maps are getting a little worn out now. We're missing so many opportunities to play in other fun map themes.

I think I have the answer to this map thing
56k lagman released the code to restart the game on command
and dash put it in his admin codes
If we can get DanMac or Chilled Lizard to add this bit to the PTT admin script
the admin can cycle thru the maps at will

I would like to know. It seems like the only time we see a lush map is after we play the actual games.
Agreed. This must be investigated before CTF League 2.0. It's so odd that one can only laff at it - no lush maps in 20 (twenty!) game rounds so far... %) XD
