@ Pedro- 15 watt! Wow! I have a 30! I can have it just above absolute zero and you can still hear it really well... I like to keep it around four though.
This is mine, just take out the 100 and put in a 30. It has all the effects and such. Really fun. I like the Chorus effect myself. I can also make it sound like an acoustic, metal, tweed, classic stack and brit combo guitar... REALLY fun! XD XD
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
Never owned a fender, but looks nice.
My main piece is a Taylor 814CE acoustic-electric which I play finger-style with.
You've never heard an acoustic until you've experienced a Taylor:
-MUSC.
I learned on my sisters alfarez. That sounds pretty sweet. And I just discovered something. My Guitar, while the tag said fender, it seems to be made by Jay Turner... Hmm... Still sounds awesome, and my siters friend assurs me it is a good guitar. Hmm... I will look into this. I own a fender, jay tuner strat... WOW... XD
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
Dont set it on the floor like dat
I have a Gibson Epiphone
Squid its a peavy custom. I LOVE the tone. Sounds like a paul and plays like a jackson
I got the original rage amp. I use it for practice at home. Its the best deal for the $ for a practice amp. I use the peavy supreme for live shows and recording and rehersal. A big part of my sound is the G-major. Its expensive but it works wonders for effects. I paid $599 but it sells at musicians friend for $399 now.

Yeah I love my RAGE II 158 !
I leave it as 10 on the amp and anything I want on the guitar, that way I dont have to keep bending down to the amp....
Once I had it on 10 - 10 and my friend round the corner heard me playing "White Stripes"

^ lol...
@ Dice-wings- I really don't like epiphones... They keep their string WAAAYYY too lose, and they don't hold their tune... Go for a washburn or fender... Oscarshmidt is pretty good too. Also, if u read the caption, u would have learned that thats not my guitar. S'ok though :)

Muscles I met with stephan king (www.kingofguitar.net) and the taylor president and they discussed their luthing (sp)techniques. It was amazing. A custom designed machine for every process. Not much else out there for a steel string flatop for quality. Archtops and classicals are on the way up for taylor as well but right now they are thin. I have a hand made german classical that is unparalleled in sound from any production guitar I have heard. I have a new york pro (taylor clone this model) dreadnaught cutaway with solid top and a piezo pickup (I love the new taylor expression system). It sounds like a taylor but doesnt have the neck. Its fine cause it doesnt see much action anyway! Im fond of my jackson kelly for hot lead tones and my washburn rocker for practice and backup lead guitar with single coils. Next purchase will be an electric violin...that peavy custom in that photo is the one I hold most of the time. We bonded... :)
B
@Bolo - I play jackons - they have the best action I reckon. Next time in the city I will try to give a peavy a rip.
BTW nice beard mate - I wish we could have a jam.
Man, wish I was as good as some of u guys. I am not good enough yet to do much execpt play acouple songs. I wrote a couple, but they are really simple. Course, I have only been plaing for about 7 months... I also considered drums at one point... I would actually have an advantage on that. My parents say I have, like, some kinda eternal beat thing going on... When I was 3 I started tapping out the rythm to an old jazz song! :P I think I inhearited it from my dad. He was in a backup band as a drummer! He has played behind stevie wonder, twy and the twighlights... A bunch of other really old bands? XD

^ Just practice man - till ya fingers hurt. 8o
Nice guitar XD B)
I got my first electric in 1966. It was a "Kent" solid body from the local "Lyric Record Shop" - ha ha ha! I quickly moved up to a "Giulietti" hollow body - my parents bought that brand because that was the kind of accordions that the studio I played at pushed. I played rhythm with a 25 piece accordion band for three years (you wonder why I'm like the way that I am).
Now my main acoustic is a 1985 Martin J21-M with a custom transducer - it sounds sweeter every day! The main electric is a Line 6 Variax played through a Podxt. I like having a wide range of instruments available. It enables me to add a little banjo or even sitar to spice up things.
Bolo, I'd love to get hold of a Peavey Supreme!
What a day!

^ Toothpick could cost 100000 dollars, but that doesn't mean it is better quatity. Like I said before... The Epiphones have loose strings... I hate that! Drives me crazy. Fenders are better guitars period... The lead singer of the NIGHTCRAWLERS uses the kind of guitar I have... Only it is black XD But, whatever suits the person I guess! :)
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
The Epiphones have loose strings
Lot of it is the scale
The scale of a guitar is the distance between the nut and the bridge.
For instance jacksons use mainly 25.5" scale. Gibsons I think are 24.75. Keep that in mind when you buy a gutar if you want more space between the frets (and better action and tension) or less space and tighter strings....
String gauge and brand play a role too
Neck adjustment and bridge/nut height also contribute to string tension
Most factory epiphones play well once you rip off those crap strings and put on some name brand ones.
I wouldnt make any assumptions about a guitar unless you have made all the adjustments I mentioned. More than likely it can play the way you want it to if set properly.
I had an epiphone les paul I just gave to my brother in law for his birthday. I was a great guitar for the money. The tone it had I no longer needed when I got my peavy. Its superior to any epiphone out there.
Keep in mind that peavy makes decent guitars for the money. Still cheap but not bad. Only their custom shop guitars (like the one im holding) compare to a high end guitar (i.e. Solid mahogany with carved maple top, solid mahogony neck, hand wrapped pickups)

YAY! My dad picked up this today! It is a slightly used, but it took an estimated $300 off the price!!!!!!!!! We got it for around 200 dollars! It feels a little weird, but I have been playing acustic for ever. Ever being the 7 months since I started playing. I am not that good in retrocspect, and I still want to learn on an acustic. They are harder to play, so if I learn on one of those, I can play all! Or so says the teacher. Also, the amp has all the cool effects on it! Pretty neat!
note: this is not mine, but it is the same model (I think) and it has an frost style pickguard
HAPPPYYYY! XD XD XD XD XD :) :) B)
