Page : <1> :

HI!
I cant join any "real" servers. Moreover I cannot find them. I can only choose one of these dedicated servers but there are only bots playing! Are there any serverlists I can download or something like that. I hope u can help me cause I see that there are people playing this game but its so frustrating to have no ability to get into a game!!!

1) Click the "Online" button.

2) Click on a server you wish to play in.

3) Click the join button.

Wow, it's like reading "Common Sence for Dummies".....

Go to the tnak selection screen. On the bottom.. There should be a button that says 'on-line'. Is it not there?

HI! I have the normal game. Bought it in a store. I press the online button but as I said there are no servers or games I can join! If I start a dedicated server I can just join games where only bots are playing (after pressing the online button!!!). I am not stupid!!!
I know other games where I have to press update or refresh and there are plenty servers I can join!!! Why is it so difficult with think tanks!

Got no firewall

Please help

I don't think you can buy the game in a store, it's a rip-off probably.

I see that there are people playing this game

Where do you see other people playing if you can't even see any servers?

I paid about 5

Could it be that you have a Euro version that will only see servers hosted from Euro versions of TT?

Go to www.garagegames.com and buy the REAL version of ThinkTanks.
I bet the version you got is a dud, or an illegal version.

Wait - are you using the TapWave version?

Monday, September 27, 2004 at 9:51:01 PM

Bought it in a store!!! It is original. Bravetree!!!! I see others playing when I check the current games on this site or the gnometech serverlist! Not so difficult u see!!!!! No tapwaveversion! Maybe it is a euroversion. Are there any updates? It is no rip off. It was a kind of special-price offer. As it is usual for older games. I dont think thats so exciting... Quite regular for older games, or am I wrong?

It must have been pirated, because Bravetree doesn't sell individual copies, as far as I know.

I am desperate now. Wont ask u anymore. Thanks a lot for ur help!!! U helped me so much

Sender, are you from Taiwan or Poland? The reason I ask is that we did sell an English version of the game in a box in those two countries. The drawback to this version is that it can only connect to players with the same version and there are no dedicated servers. So the reason you may be having trouble is because there aren't enough people with that version out there playing. The reason we didn't let that version comingle with other versions is that we didn't want an unprotected English version floating around.

So here's a question for you. Where did you get it? I'm curious as to whether our European distributor is going outside the contract and selling it places he shouldn't be...

The distributor is "media verlagsgesellschaft mbh"... Bought it in germany

Oh, I see. So this is the German version, not an English version.
