A new game starts, and the other team has left, leaving you and a few others battling the |bots|. It would be nice to be able to type "green please" or "blue please" to be able to switch sides to even out the teams instead of backing out and rejoining.

That is good feature idea. However the possibility of abuse by random switchers is not good. Thoughts on curbing abuse?

You would only be able to use it for team switching if the other team is short of human players. Otherwise it won't let you swap teams.

Personally I think team switching by players will be abused. If u wanna switch, leave and lose your stats. If u dont want to, then u dont need to switch that bad.

A clever option would be for the bots to switch teams to even the number of humans and bots per team. If need be a bot switch could also switch the human player too. Whatever it takes to even the score... Maybe the human(s) that get switched could be figured on stats as to keep the teams as even as possible...

This way the server controls it and it cant be abused.

But what if u wanna be lopsided?? Suppose pain, tankster, dan, z and 2 bots are battling all of u... Do u really want them to have more humans on their side... I personally like it the way it is for the most part.

I agree. A team switching feature should remove the player's points so it's not taken too lightly. (I'm coming from a team scrum perspective.)

I tried to use wingman, but it always bugs up on CTF, maybe you could fix thts?
