Why is everyone obsessed with runescape?

^ Not obsessed, just bored. XD (If I didn't have dial-up, I'd probably ditch RS for DashBash games.)

Well I quit RS like 3 monthes ago, partly becuase I was tired of gettin banned and silenced. Becuase im a scammer and a account stealer, but my 1st account Mr shamrok is all me, until it got banned for selling fish bowls as hats for 11k each :P

I don't like runescape either. I just am away from thinktanks because it is getting boring more and more. I only stick around for leagues and clan stuff. I am more into graphics, Enemy Territory, and Counter Strike Source.

Orr.. You can try MoparScape. A hacked version of RuneScape, that lets you host your own private RuneScape server. (whit cheatcodes)
And you can fully customize it, adding new skills, adding monsters, adding teleporters, changing magic, changing your own level,... Etc.

There are better games that are less popular than this peice of crap. I suggest trying either Mapleglobal.com or Eternal-lands.com

Both require a download, but are very fun as the community in both are very nice and Maplestory is addicting IMO.

^ double posted and is wrong....maple story is kool but u have 2 donwload and cannot play anywhere. Rs you can play just about anywhere even at school. Also rs is not a piece of crap. YOu just have a different opinion then everyone else %)

^ Everyone else? I see quite a number of people saying RS is crap, including me. Yes, I play it occasionally, however, I'm waiting for Maple Story to load it's 1 hr parts (20 of them). Once I get on that, bye-bye RS (it should be better than RS).

So? Downloading just takes less than 30 minutes, and that may seem long, but you can do alot and yes, RS is a crap heap since it gets boring; makes me wanna put forks in my eyes; make me wanna put forks in the creators' eyes. Sure its convienient *spelling*, but thats why it has alot of users. Games like ET and maplestory lack convienience with the downloads, but its a helluva lot more fun than RS.

BTW: once you made an account and all that, be sure to make your character in Khaini, as you can only have a specific character in one of the 7 servers. (meaning you can't have that character on any other servers).

^ Dial-up curse, if I'd try to download the whole thing at once, I couldn't use the comp. For 24 hours straight. I can't do that. And, I'll keep that in mind. :)

Did someone mention skill and runescape in the same sentence? Oh boy, must be a typo. If you consider being able to click a certain point on the screen and type in chat, then yes, it does have skill. However, according to this logic, you could say anyone using IM also has skill. Oh look, I have the skills to type in chat and click the "submit" button right here. I must have tons of skill, eh? 8o
