In CTF some of the heavy tanks hang around the goal... (fine in my book and good team play) is there a way to get points for killing "campers" like if your so close to the goal you get a different "kill" score then if you killed them out in the open. Since "camper killing" is a method of play in scrum why not here too. And have that add in to your rankings. Just a thought thanks

Nothing extra for killing campers in CTF. However there are extra points awarded for killing Tally Ho, even in CTF.

I was wondering why my scrum stats have been higher than usual lately...

Seems when tally kills me, he gets 0.5 pts, but when I kill him, I get 2 points.... Now I know why! Thanks! :)

Can you really call it camping in CTF since you're trying to defend your goal?

In scrum, a camper is waiting for someone to bring the scrum so they can steal a goal, but CTF scores differently.

I usually move around alot during CTF, but there are times when I hang at my goal and there are times when I pound the opposition's goal from afar. Is either really camping?

Its a team game with offence and defence. There is no 'camping' in the commonly understood use of the term.

Geez, everyone bags on Tally, anyway. I can understand one person camping, thats probably their way, but when you have a friggen' Boy Scouts Jamboree Convoy Camping Trip all the way across the hill on top of the goal, extra points sound sweet

Lol! Besides, what did Tally Ho do? Camp for a hundred games? :o Or does he go on killing sprees every 5 minutes?

Anyway, I'm not a very good scrummer, I'm more of a tactician/sniper sort, so I try to stay away from the action, but in the way of someone scoring a goal... Doesn't really work 'cuz the scrum ball is where the action is... :'( Hey, at least its good for Survivor!

@ Bolo: Couldja show us a few screenshots of the "Tally Ho Terminator" somewhere in the "Skins"section please? Pardon my renaming it... :'(

So take them all out in one fell swoop with the Lava-rock powerup. If they are camping.. They won't be out hunting for the poweups giving you free access to them all.

Yea but some campers follow you to nick powerups from you, so that then they can kill ya, I only get the ball against the bots because of that! And can't you add more of the lava-rock. If I could have CTF sent, I'd make it a good powerup to have by having Reloadtime = "0" and burstcount = "150000000" and count = "150000000"

You run up extra points anyway in CTF. A lot of the game is in one of 3 modes
A: all the targets clustered around the goal
B: all the targets coming at you
C. Scrum up for grabs, targets somewhere between the goals

You'll rack up lots of indie points anyway as a residual effect of playing the game.

@ -z-: is there a way to hide the indie scores in team games and just display the team scores,
that would be cool, Maybe show the indie scores at the end of the game for the people who care.

Yea but some campers follow you to nick powerups from you,

Okay.... This one lost me.

#1, how do you 'nick' a powerup from someone? Once you've grabbed the powerup, it's yours. And they can't bloody well nick it from you if they get there first. If they get there first, it's theirs, not yours.
#2, if they're following you around the map after all these powerups, they're hardly 'camping'.

You nicked my powerup!
