I was got on TT, looked through the servers and I can see 1 of them has someone called Phoenix(TT) and someone called Odin. I went in the game and the 2 people are swearing and yelling at the other players (mainly demos) I dont usealy mind if some1 has my username odin but when some1 use both of my usernames and starts swearing at others it upsets me since I cant stop them.

Is there anyway imposters can be stopped?it makes the players that they imposter look bad

Put symbols in your name some fools still don't know how to do it..... Or maybe that was a little while ago..

I usually go into the game where the imposter is and tell everyone that they are an imposter. Most of the time someone says they already knew that. If anyone asks how I know, I tell them that I am LGM. ( even if my player name is chucky or something)

O ok I thoguh you where saying you have an imposter. Eveyone sasy that and it gets annyoing

The thing that worries me is only about 5 Veteran players know my other username of Odin, people like marrick and Cpt rik who I dont think would imposter me.i cant think of any1 who hates me really hmmm

Use Nick protection. If it works...

No it only works for ptt and you have to like update it evey day!

Find where the imposter lives. Quietly sneak into their house. Leave them a 'present' regarding their computer. They will never bother you again. I learned from trial and error, and Im getting out of prison in only a few months.

LOL PIP. Well Phoenix I've had an imposter almost since I started playing. I don't think there's much you can do about it. I've tried putting extra characters in my name... Didn't stop the imposter but it does make my name look stupid. So I've just kinda sorta learned to live with my evil twin. Most people will know it's not you when the swearing starts anyway.

That means they dont want you to know they swear. THey proably do it when you not there

They knew things about me that I cant remember telling any1, like my real name my age, my school and my sisters name. No1 I knwo plays TT

Wow then that means either your sister plays it and is pranken you someone who knows all taht stuff at your school and doesn't tell you he/she plays tt did it or hes just a hacker and somehow got the info off your computer.

Its Quite Easy, Make a script where your computer remembers the name and matches the name with their IP, SO if someone goes on as that name but because its a different IP they get kicked/banned

BUT... Some of us don't always use the same IP... (blame Pedro for the sig)

Yes....it would be better if the name protection is used on all games...and how come we have to update it everyday? :o
