I thought it best to post here as there are several of my comrades I have not seen for some time, but I have been experiencing weird glitches and interference in my neural pathways. Detailed analysis has discovered many 'X's in the data - far more than you might expect in a random data sample. I'm hoping that a patch can be quickly developed to stop these data intrusions, if not, then can you do something about it Mal? I know you are adept at that sort of thing. If anyone sees any of the old deadly sins crew or the historical battle commanders squadron, please pass this information on to them immediately.

Yours,

Big H.

I thought it was just me. The other night I kept having radar glitches, with some of those pesky human players appearing and then disappearing on my radar. Stealing the scrum and then going invisible on me... This is worse that their diving and camping crimes that we have long accused them of.

Something needs to be done, and quickly. I'll try and find Mal.

Ri, over and out.

Can't say that I've experienced anything out of the ordinary, but then again, I've been sat in an unused bunker fending off rust and other ailments like most of the rest of my squad, some of whom have sadly fallen into disrepair from standing idle too long. We need some good maintenance, gallons of fuel and some service bots desperately before we fall apart irrevocably. I think however the lead insulation may have protected us from what you might be sufffering from though no doubt those humans will find a way to penetrate our primative hideout - that is, if the elements don't finish us off first. I wish you luck with your endeavour though.. Those damn humans have gone one step too far this time.

It's bad enough they occasionally, somehow, mess with the environments appearance, disorientating us, and add extra weaponary to their tanks as well as enforcing additional game rules without publishing them some place where we might have access to them or even a say in the matter.. I have even heard reports of some players pitting bots against bots in a gladitorial fashion for sport or perhaps gambling. So very uncivilised and cruel in my opinion - and that means something coming from me. If ever I and my crew managed to roll out of this bunker and onto the field, you can bet your metal backside that I shall seek revenge and wreak havoc on the battlefield once more...

Any further clues on these 'X's?

Signed,

Wrath

One of the original 7 deadly sins and possibly the deadliest.

Hate to admit it, but I'm in a similar position to Wrath an his group. We took a pretty hard pounding on our last encounter with the humans and I hope one of you has managed to get revenge against those who put us into this dreadful service yard. Names like Ho, Bagman, and and KFC ring a few bells, but it was quite some time ago now. Alaric is still able to roll around and keeps a vigilant eye on things when he can, but as for the rest of them, they all seem to be missing essential pieces. Genghis Khan has no weaponry at the moment, and Hannibal treads are still somewhere out on Freudian Flats - probably deeply buried by this time.

Our thoughts are with you, but sadly we will be unable to do much from here.

Umm... Woohoo? They're all real bots. Look at how long they've been around. They've been spying on us ever since and relaying their data back to Alien Mind Control to stage a takeover of PTT!!! TT'll be helpless! And this is their thread!
Anyways, @Wrath and Oda, just an FYI: your servers are down at the moment. You might want to keep your eyes... Err, spots in your gilded brains on a series of scripting projects trying to bring back Survivor and CTF. They're well-maintained, too.

Dammit guys, I've been trying to debug my system to find what's causing these glitches, but I seem to have been infected with an HB virus that is preventing my debugging circuits from functioning properly. I'd never heard of this 'HB virus' before Do you guys think it stands for something or is related to this X problem in any way? It seems a little bit too much to be coincidental.

Any further evidence you guys find would be most helpful.. In the mean time, and between brief excursions onto the field of battle I shall continue trying to analyse things myself.

So long as my communication circuits remain active, I shall try to keep you guys posted.
