It seems there have been many in the past, but none ever happened so now here's one I hope will happen...

Rules:

- you may not use any maps that are in the modpack at this time unless you own the maps.
- You may not work in teams
- all maps must be submitted to the judges along with everything needed to play them
- judges may not judge their own mods if they are enrolled in the contest

Points:

Maximum: 150 points

-10 points for object placement and editing

-up to 10 points for weapon modding

-10 points for mission modding (ie changing sky, fog, etc.)

-5 points for emitter use and addition

-25 points for a totally new terrain (yes I encourage using tge)

-Up to 25 points for playability and "neatness" of terrain

-15 points for new gametypes; Excludes: CTF, hockey, soccer, survivor, team survivor, team dodgeball, keep away, hold the ball, oddball

-Up to 20 points for new objects (4 points per new one; +1 extra per object beyond 5 new objects)

- up to 10 points for professionalism

-up to 20 points for originality

Judges:
1. - - - - - -

I need 3 reliable, well-judging judges. And by this I mean that I want judges who will judge on time and "fairfully" (ie: I don't want judges who will just look at something as a glance and not fully inspect it.

Grade Sheet

What's Modding? 0 - 30 points: Noob!!

Beginner 35 - 55 points: you make good first impressions on your mods, yet you just don't have the spark to make them last a day.

Intermediate 55 - 70 points: Your mods tend to only be filled with your friends and your self yet occasionally some people tend to find their way into your mods.

Expert 70 - 95 points: You're on your way to becoming a modding god, yet you lack the ability impress any veteran and you tend to have demos and noobs entering your mods. Your inferiors see you as a god, yet your superiors see you as another noob.

Expert Major 95 - 120 points: your mods astonish veterans and you are catching interest even among the veteran modders; your mods tend to always be filled up with people coming from a wide variety of back grounds

Modding Professional 120 - 150 points: This is it. You and your mods go down into thinktanks history and people always tend to ask for more mods from you. You tend to get many ideas for modding and they never seem to run out. If someone gave you the TGE having only 1 texture, you could whip something up that could make even the best of modders look like crap.

Modding God 150+: You have reached the status of modding god and people will always tend to make threads asking you for help even if there are others that could help them.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions. As for the prize, you get bragging rights or if someone could so kindly as to donate some sort of rare script or anything that a lot of people would want

This made me laugh... I remember about half an year ago the quantity of "Help Me Art Crazy" Threads in the forums... I almost never got to them first... Kinda strange ain't it?
