I think its gonna be allright, not all that great tho... XD From those pictures...doesnt look like muchofa difference.

I am ready for a dissapointment from Halo 3. They are trying to rush and get the game out in a year. I have learned a lot about game development, and I know that to make a good game, (speaking commercial next gen level) you need to spend at least three years remaking the system and models. Halo 3 will be very similar to Halo 2.
