Hi Andy,

What do you use for your security??

In that case, you are using a very locked down version of Internet Exploder. In SP2 they basicly stop you of downloading anything.

Here's how to switch it:

Go to the top bar of Internet Explorer and go to Tools.

Find Internet Options.

A window will pop up.

Select the tab on the top that says Security.

In that tab.. Select Internet, then press Custom Level.

Another window will pop up.

Scroll down to Downloads in that window.

If File Download is disabled, enable it.

There you go. Be careful on what you download. For better security, download Opera or Firefox . I prefer Opera more, but FireFox is more like Internet Explorer.

And adding to what Racer 445 is saying is that if that didn't work, the site might be restricted for any document/file to be downloaded.

Select the tab on the top that says Security.

From there you will see "Restricted Sites" (That sign that looks like red and has a line in the middle).

Click on the sign and then click the button "Sites"

Find the site that is restricted and press the "Remove" button on it from being a restricted site.

Done.
