Are you guys just annoying me or...?!? 8o
((You mean "ignoring"...not annoying. Www.dictionary.com is your friend ;) ))
#1. I know you can do this so-how do you make more than 12 spots for maps?
~~ Go to "productgameserver" folder, and find your "prefs.cs" file (NOT prefs.cs.dso !!). Then follow instructions/guidelines on this page
on how to fiddle with your server settings.
#2. How do you add fog to a new TGE?
~~ When viewing your map in TGE (under "World Editor Inspector" mode) in the menu to the right (3rd down from the top) will be a feature called "Skies". Click that. Under that category will be a bunch of settings related to your terrain's "sky" that you'll be able to alter (seen below the menu section). Fog is one of those settings. Most of the other sky settings you shouldn't have to edit, btw. (Aside from the sky file location, Visibility is the only other setting in "skies" that will affect your mod. It's good to have a visibility under 1000, unless it's a really freakin huge map or it has surrounding islands)
#3. What do you need to create your own terrerian?
~~ TGE makes your own custom terrain (aka: the map). If you mean the terrain *textures*, you can make those using photoshop, paint, or just cutting and pasting photos from your camera or the internet. HOWEVER, ThinkTanks only uses certain size images (meaning:: pixels X pixels). Look at the size of some of the other terrain texture files to see how big the image has to be.
(Note: If you include custom textures not default or in the X-Pack, people will have to download them in game... And that often takes a while.)
