Tony Hawk's Underground 2 - only for win though, I play that very often these days.
@Pedro
Hes talking about THPSU
2 -- That U means Underground... Its THPS latest game...
I'm like you napalm, I've lost interest over the many months I've been playing and modding. Lately though I've returned to skinning a bit since there are still some ideas I'd like to develop and for the most part the quality of skins has gone down overall, so I think the kids need something to aspire too. And I've been wanting to try my hand at creating new.dts objects for the game. I've got my mind set on creating an Easter Island mod and I need a certain statue to make that work properly. I'd also like to create some new tanks and ufos. The thing is, it is going to take some time on my part to figure out a few things to make sure the objects work correctly, but since I'm interested in 3D modeling anyway, I think of it as a learning experience that my help my career in the long run.
So maybe there's a few things for you to explore as well before writing TT off for good.

I see where your comming from nap...well sort of. I like the maps that come with the games, but again mods make it funner and you can explore more. As the two games I noticed in ur post: Unreal Tourn. And Halo, we have both, I've played both of 'em ureal is a severly aweosme game, great graphics, halo is an older game, I have yet to figure the modding out, but the ones I have been in are pretty sweet. ALso the games are quite fun, halo has so many diff games, which u can create you own if u want, such as we have the ultimate slayer and what not. Not much done with Unreal, but it does have aweosme game play. Just my input, hope it helps!
Unreal and Halo are great games. Can the average person just go and make mods for the games? Seems like they use a powerfull game engine.
Tribes is a great game that I just started playing a bit. Not sure if has mac and linux though. I think tribes one and two were made using Torque. It looks like there new one, Tribes: Vengeance, was made with the unreal engine. Its a blast too. However, the company that made vengeace is no longer backing the game so.....
One game that I am finding myself playing a little more is Legends. It's similiar to Tribes but without a lot of the eyecandy and no one really plays it, lol. Its a game still in its development stages I guess, but fun in its simplicity. http://legendsthegame.net/

I was just wondering if any of you have played any other games that support modding?
I typically find something I like and dedicate myself to it. Like TT, over the past 2 years, that's all I play. I played both BM and Scrum, skinned just a touch, modded, hosted, admin'd yak, yak, yak.
So I'm only looking for one game, one game only to bring modding to, or, to bring myself up to.
I have increasingly been losing interest in Think Tanks over the past serveral months and I don't see any sight of TT 2 on the horizon.
TT just doesn't have it anymore for me.
Here's what I'm getting at and the requirements I'm looking for.
1. A game that allows modding and is encourage and sought after by the game community.
2. A game that is cross-platform. I would like it to include Mac, Win, and the Linux Communities
I have read some articles about the gaming community.
Hollywood reported (Modding)
I see in these games there are many mods widlt available.
Specifically Unreal Tournament appears to have an enormous amount of mods.
So, What'cha Got?
