Page : <1> :

MonkeeMan has put the finishing touches on his Observer script and it is available now! Thank you MonkeeMan!

There seem to be several versions of the observer script, one by ArtCrazy and one by Dash. I think they probably all use the same underlying stuff in the TGE. But I don't know if they are all compatible with one another. This version though is not part of any admin package so it should be very easy to incoporate whether you use an admin package (dash, sluggy's) or not.

All directions, usage instructions and the download are at the link above.

Good work, mine also works without any admin script tough lol, I just ask for it cos mine uses one of the things the admin script uses... XD

Does it work without using a mod just a server? X/

@Cloud, yes it will work in a dedicated server, or a server you create within TT, either modded or unmodded makes no difference.

Wings: Look up top and there should be a logo that is flashing wildly in bright yellow and green. Click on that.

Will it work on Shockwave servers?

If not, I'm sticking to my already installed ArtCrazy Observer.

Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 7:15:48 AM

No it only works on servers that have it -- as a script must be on the server's machine and the only way to do it is by having it installed there

LOL I thought so.

When they say extract all files that means unzip.. Simple question, I think thats what it means......

Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 3:36:02 PM

@Cloud: Yep that's right.

@Lone: Oop forgot to set replace bots. Did you get the script to work?

@KBC: No, Banjo the Clown was busy entertaining executives from KBC Enterprises!

Hey Guys,
@ Rx,
I sent you an email about this...

@ Anybody who can help...

I have the Script for the MM observer in my game/scripts folder,
I also have the line at the end of my main.cs file...
But I cant get the Observer mode to open...i Created my own server, I went into a Dedicated Server, But it isn't working...
Nothing happens when I push Alt+c...Thats the PC command right?
What did I do?
What didn't I do?

Freedom, are you sure you put the script into the server/scripts folder? There is no game/scripts folder as you say. It needs to be game/server/scripts and not game/client/scripts. Hope that's it!

Don't you need to modify the client and the server game instances to run MM observer script? Were both of the modifications performed?

@ Nap, yes. Unless you use the create server button within TT. But either way, if you create a server you will need to add the one line to your pref.cs file:

$pref::Server::ObserverMode = 1;

That would be my guess as to the problem too. You need the pref line if you are hosting (it is the on/off switch).

Thanks RX for all your help with this. I've been extremely busy lately and have not had much time to play, check forums, or work on anything extra. All of my little side projects have once again been put on hold. So thanks again RX, your help is greatly appreciated!

There's no link at all.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

The link simply goes to www.reagentx.com

@Freedom: Woot!
