Be a good sport, Sport, and we'll give ya mad l33t tips that you can sport freely, and if TT's a sport, you'll be a heckuvan athlete. Email me anytime (email in profile), and feel free to practice on my scrum server (The Shadow Realm). I can give you advice there, even if I'm not on TT.
(Yeah, I'm supposed to be on hiatus, but too bad. I still click "Reset New Posts" to keep PTT running fast.)
EDIT: Almost forgot: check out this link.

Thanks DJ Wings 6.10 Final (SA), I will do that. By the way how did u get that "My ho, my ho, it's off to bed we go....." Graphic thing?

Let me know, (my E-Mail is in my Profile) and I have Skype!

Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 2:38:51 PM

Just call me DJ Wings. No need to say my whole screenname. People hate it when you do that. I used a PHP script that Art Crazy made. Ask him, I just hacked it a bit to make it green on black.
PS: What does it say now? (No need to answer. It says a lot of things.)

^ STOP!

Warning: You have just double posted. This is generally looked down upon on PTT. Use the edit button (lower rigt handof the chat box) or the delete button (very near the edit button). These enable you to say what you want without hogging all of PTT's memory. :)

Besides that, welcome!

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 12:15:55 PM

My friend just told me not to double post I won't do it again!!!

Friday, November 24, 2006 at 11:14:32 AM

What you just did is called "bumping"- posting on a "dead thread" and putting it at the top of the list. Also not a good idea.

Friday, November 24, 2006 at 11:23:09 AM

Sportbix, you've got to be careful around these parts...

... What Dj is doing, is commonly called "hustling for money", he'll pretend to be your friend for a short while and then start demanding small favours, these will then escalate rapidly - rent, a car, more cocaine - till it gets to the point where you are lumbered with a few homeless down-and-outs who will slowly suck you into their world, don't try to be the nice-guy, keep your distance from anyone whose eyes are too close together or you'll be introduced to a world where you don't want to be... Stay clean, stay safe and most importantly stay away from anyone who is being friendly...

Just some friendly advice...

Sportmix is for dogs ? Man, ever since I'm feeding on that stuff, I started to look like Arnold Swarzaneggerrred. :o

I figure I shouldn't create a thread only to say "hi", so this one will suit perfectly fine to introduce myself.

Actually, the first time I've tried ThinkTanks was about two years ago, but, at the time, I was always on the move - it was tough to get/stay online with a decent connection of any kind; consequently, I didn't register back then, even though I really liked the game. Fast-forward to about a week-and-a-half ago and I just happened upon Garage Games's site again. I gave TT another whirl and I still liked what I was seeing. Luckily it also works fairly well with my 56k connection. So I purchased the game after about an hour of demo-play.

An observation I've made since joining the TT players is that the community seems to be somewhat of a mixed bag. There are some bratty teens who'll whine about anything, the forever mutes, the I-am-better-than-thou folks, and some admins who'd kick one from the server for as much as breathing in the wrong direction. Fortunately, the majority of the players I've encountered were none of the above.

That said, it's a wacky and enjoyable game. I'm looking forward to my future games with some of you.
