Ok...CTF is a great game but under its current situation its useless. Waaay to many noobs who just dont know how to play and no general adm script to change colors so that an even game can be played. I've played 1 decent game so far with mostly vets but every other game has been mind numbing and ridiculous. I even had two opposing players tell me to stop bming them and then was called a noob. LOL

I havent the time right now but a thread of general rules and tactics would prove immensly helpful ( maybe ) until we can get the adm situation under control. Ill post more when I get the chance.

The game is great but still seems a work in progress in its present form.

The presence of "amateurs" who are not clear on the rules or strategies is one component.

I find there to be mind numbing (and gun freezing) amount of lag - I remember that from before- though I keep playing because it is fun.
That could be due to server location as I get that on leopards lair and dash's servers too (my fire rate is generally poor and when I fire close up to someone the gun freezes up, cant see bullets)
Not a ping thing either as mine is rarely all that bad.

It seems to be a game of streaks. The team that establishes control early can often hold it and run up the score.
Certain maps seem to favor certain colors/teams regarding spawn and flag drop placement, arrows, etc.
When that is paired with unequal teams it can really unbalance a game.

Hard to get even teams and close games... Often a landslide one way or the other.

Yes- and even out the number of bots.

Im very glad tha the server is up, whether there are noobs or not. Yes yes it would be a lot easier if there was an admin script but Dan doesnt have all the time in the world. He said that he wasnt that good at it anyways. Im sure once he gets some time, he will try and stick the admin script in. Im just happy its back. B)

I used to love CTF

Man we had some epic games late last night in CTF , it was a hoot, full server till the wee hours of the morning. There were a few nOObs but they seem to be comming along with their games and understanding a little bit, maybe if we all pitch in a little bit and encourage them it could be a blast again.

CTF is a fun game too, but I find PTT server to laggy or its just me?
