Any of you ever play Conker's Bad Fur Day for N64?

I've made the multiplayer Beach level. I did the best I could at replicating it. (with loads of help from 56k with the scripting)

Here is the power up that will kill all the greens when picked up.

For those who dont know how to play this, here's a run through.
Green is isolated in thier fortress.

(sniper tower on left, chain gun area in the middle, bazooka tower on left)

And they can't leave their fortress. If greens try to jump down the get killed. You can only use the the sniper weapon when in the sniper tower, same goes for the bazooka and chain gun.
Greens can't shoot, until they get the power up for that area. (drive through the ammo gates to get the powerups.

The blues spawn way on the other side of the map and try to run to the fortress and enter these portals without getting killed by the greens shooting down at them.

Blues score points by going through the portals at the end. Then they spawn back at the beginning.
Or by getting the power up that is in the middle of the map wich kill all the green as soon as its picked up. (picture #6)
Blues also have a time limit to get to the portal, they have 80 seconds before they die, but the time restarts once you die or score a point.
Blues can't shoot at all.

So the greens score points by killing blues that are down below, and blues score points by getting to the portals by the green fortress.
You cannot drive up walls. And please tell me if someone finds a way to cheat, because I don't want the game to be ruined by a bunch of cheaters.

I hope this explanation was through enough for you to understand.
If you have questions just post it.
I'll be hosting it every now and then, just look for it, I may make it dedicated if I get around to it. I hope you can drop in sometime. :)
I need people to help test the game play, because I don't actually know if its possible for the blues to make it without being killed by the greens.
I might have to tweak some things if its too hard for the blues.

Never heard or played anything called Conker's Bad Fur Day, but perhaps you let me play a great clone of it.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Great job Paco! And I was still thinking on how to make a "clone" of your other MODs (not that I was gonna make it though)
That doesnt seem to be too hard to do, but now you gave me more to think about :P

I might check it out later :P

We played a few rounds at this mod this evening, really fun, it is so complex yet so simple.

The only thing is that I found two bugs that allow you to get the powerup real easy.

I see the Conker's BFD: Beach as a dedicated server, but there is a problem. When I join it the load won't start. (The small box in the bottom left corner doesn't show map and platform info.)

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Thanks for telling me that Triv, I looked back through the scripts and found a syntax error. But it's fixed now, and the server loads.
@Racer, I've adjusted the rocks so that you can't get to it that way. XD

Alright, whatever Paco makes has to be fun! I just fell in love with Impossible Odds. So, Conkers Bad Fur day has to be good than! :P

When do you expect the server to be up on an average day basis?

I'll try to host it every evening for a while.

I really wanna disable the radar to make it harder to spot the blues, but I cant figure out how to make it server side not just client. :o

It would be pretty scary if you could turn off other people's radars or do any other client sided changes.

Thought, my mind came an idea. You know how people have changed the tank (skin) in their servers, right? Would it be possible to create a new radarhud and make it to be the one that is used, so, when someone joins he would have to use it... Errm... <I wonder where I'm getting with this>... That wasn't as good idea as I though.

Very fun to play, indeed! Lots of never-seen-before features. Great job Paco.

I noticed you found a way to get rid of the player name above the tank that surely makes it harder to spot tanks. And now I understand why you would want to get rid of the radar. Without the radar it would make greens job harder and blues easier which would be good, because green are usually more powerful.

Thought it's a pity you can't see your own team members names. You think it would be possible to edit it only show your own team members names above their tanks? Would be much more fun if you would see other blues names and be possible to know with whom you're going to the base.

The game is best when there are more than six players. When there is one or two players on the green it's pretty hard to kill blues.

Great mod, but I still think the Impossible Odds were better. I think the best player numbers in this mod are 3 greens and 3 blues. It would be nice to know which things are client and which server side, I thought the names were client? :o My littlebrother has played Conker's Bad Fur Day and he said that mod is correctly the same, from lighting to the weapons.

Will you make the other maps of that game? I don't know what they are but maybe some of them are great for mods. I'd also like to see Impossible Odds up again someday. %)

Trivox found a way to get the kill-greens-powerup without using bridge... Lol it was so funny yesterday when I went to BFD there was someone using modwizard and placing jumppads and speeds!! XD They disappeared when round ends.

I've tweaked some of the weapon's power and fixed some bugs, I've also now have it set up so that when you team kill or suicide, your team doesn't lose points, but the other team gets a point.
So diving down to hit them in the air isn't gonna work anymore, and changing tanks all the time is only gonna help the other team. If the blues timer runs out, that is a point for the greens.
Also, the bridge (hopefully) is smoother, and you shouldn't get stuck anymore.

But I still can't figure out how to disable the radar for everyone.
Anyone got any ideas on how to do that?
